Their Twitter feed says they will be broadcasting "from 00:00 to 08:00 and then from 04:00 to 12:00" [sic].

Now obviously that doesn't make sense, so I wonder if it should be from 00:00 to 03:00, because that is currently vacant capacity (3-4am is YourTV+1).

The current hours are 04:00 to 12:00, so maybe the change is temporary and they are going to revert later. The new hours were on a pop-up on screen.

OK got it sorted. LCN63 has moved from COM6 to COM5 and gives the new hours 10:00 to midnight.
The COM6 version is now on LCN793 showing 12:00 to midnight.

Well I though I had. On Sunday 4th my EPG for LCN63 now says "Please retune ... daily from 4a.m. to midday".

So that was the hidden stream on COM5. There are now 16 video streams on COM5

Where did that capacity on COM5 come from? Is it newly created?

Who is using it when the Community Channel isn't on air?

The space has effectively been allocated since 9th August, when more null packets were introduced, reducing the bitrate of all the existing streams. Then some radio stations (which had moved to ARQB) were removed and there was enough space to add a TV channel.

I posted this on August 9th:

and from Sunday the hours are reverting back to 4-12am, and the retune message for this coming Sunday implies yet another change of mux (back to COM6?).

Sunday's 'change' was displayed in error apparently and has now been replaced by programme content.

I wonder if the Community Channel have actually paid for this steam using the money from their recent fundraising or if they'll be kicked off the stream if another channel takes it over?

Thanks, do we know who is taking over the old Community Channel capacity on ARQB?

I wonder what could share hours with Community. An adult channel or Ideal World could go 24 hours again?

My Samsung TV is usually spotless with making changes automatically but this one has bamboozled it!

This must be the most mucked about channel on Freeview. Its hours, lcn and mux seem to change every couple of months!

Because, as explained, it relies on donated capacity.

I no longer receive it either. Although COM8 is transmitted in my region, my communal system does not distribute this mux.

Youview IS a DVB-T2 receiver. So will get the HD muxes on COM7 and COM8 if they are transmitted in you area.

As a side note. I can get all the channels if I connect the box to my bedroom (non hd) tv, for which I use an old 'loop antenna'. That one is not really practical on my main set though.
