I love the song, It should have done better.

Can't wait for her next album though and I sure hope it is well promoted unlike "Rise."

Thats pretty much the way any business works.
As far as the charts go, there's always been a lot of crap in them. 'Shaddup your face' , 'grandma' come to mind, whilst other great songs by great artists didn't do as well.

Why should she care? Her next album is what everyone's waiting for.
Rise is not her finest effort, as it doesn't need to be.

Wait until she drops a proper pop anthem (as in 'Roar') and she'll set the charts alight.
