Am I the only one who is treating this series as a drama/soap? As soon as I seen how many reality stars were in I knew it would be all about the kick offs and as human beings I dont really like any housemate. When I watch a soap or a drama I always root for the villain as IMO its the villain that makes the show fun to watch. Thats why I dont mind Bear, as a person he probably isnt very nice. I dont think hes horrible but he is offensive and I can see why the more sensitive people despise him. However because I am not rooting for anyone on a personal level I am going to root for the villain of the show, the most entertaining housemate from what I have seen is Bear. Like any soap they need some good guys who arent the biggest personalities but they are needed to balance it out. Thats when people like Ricky and James (the level headed ones) come into play.

People will think Im trying to get Bear more fans or whatever. But Im just saying this because I always get replies from certain people who cant understand why I would like someone like him. I always say that I dont actually like him as a person, he is not someone I would be mates with realistically but I find him funny to watch. Big brother is a car crash Tv fest and more and more reality stars are getting on each year. However Bear is the only one out of all of them who has been at the forefront of every episode.

So go on tell me I am wrong for not despising him, although I really dont know how people can despise a Tv personality so much. he annoys me at times but thats about it.

I don't despise him , there's no-one really awful this year .

but there have been in other series , I don't know how many series of BB you've watched , but yes , some of them have been despicable / hateful people .

I dislike a few, Lewis grates on me. I think he does genuinely believe he is something special. I remember when Biggins labelled him and Bear the least talented. Bear actually didnt seem too bothered about it but Lewis was fuming. I also really dont get Marnie, I watch GS alot and I think some other cast members would be much better in there. Gaz, Marty, Holly or Chloe would all of been better choices if they felt the need to get another GS person in.

As i am in Ais i d/load it and i skip though the bits when Bear is on, so just a 15min show

bb has turned into another scripted reality tv show, that's why it sucks. i have never given up on a cbb this early.

I haven't watched a soap in years but never rooted for the villian Still none the wiser why people support Bear.

Tbh I dont particularly like him, I just find him entertaining. I find it hard to like many relaity srats as you dont know if how they are acting is really them or not. I do find a few good to watch though.

With CBB I have always wanted to see actors/TV people....off the screen in their 'roles'..
and on the screen as 'themselves'.......this is just a personal opinion of course.

Even in the early retro BBs the villain character stirred the most feedback. Nasty Nick was a fine example
