I doubt it's even specifics, he probably just kept going places they as a tv show found flammable or delicate

Opinions are being dragged away from us as a species

We've become so liberal we've actually gone full circle into full blown fascism

It sounds like bisexual-phobia was the main reason.
The bisexual thing would be the most ridiculous thing to be kicked out over. That discussion has been held many a time in the past (ie. whether bisexual men are secretly gay but in denial). To say that even discussing the topic or coming out with an opinion about it is 'offensive' is quite bonkers.

What actually happened? I missed this evening's episode, but I am assuming that nothing was explained?

Nothing was explained with Andrew either, not even a DR there.

The viewers aren't considered that relevant by Big Brother.

He also blamed bisexuals for the aids epidemic.

Indeed, there is something deeply intolerant about this extreme new form of political correctness. It seems it's quite okay to hate and denigrate anyone who doesn't hold liberal opinions.

I suppose it's not as good as the monkey explanation. And that's all it is, just someone's explanation. It doesn't matter whether it's right or wrong. Just challenge it with a better and more convincing explanation.

A controversial opinion to be sure, but in a society with free speech, people are allowed to hold controversial opinions or crackpot theories. Has society become so intolerant that nobody can even 'say' anything that deviates from the norm?

Don't get it wrong. They do not hold liberal opinions. They are the regressive left, they are not liberal in any way.

Someone somewhere has decided that we are ALL now special snowflakes who will somehow be 'triggered' if we hear anything that does not conform to the new rule - ie ONE opinion shared by all with no deviation.

Welcome to bland.

I don't understand why Renee got away with expressing pretty much the same views as Biggins during the same conversation but wasn't given a warning ??

I don't understand why saying (allegedly - has anyone at BB got actual proof Renee and Biggins were spouting BS?) offensive words is considered so much worse than the gross act of spitting in someone else's food and drink and watching them eat it ?? Or getting into such a rage you smash up parts of the BB house and cause other housemates to cry in fear ??

I don't understand why Biggins merely expressing his personal views in a calm manner on a subject he's had some experience of due to his sexuality is enough to instantly remove him from the house, leaving us to watch moronic idiots sit around debating whether fish are animals or not.

His generation was raised in a world where homosexuality was frowned upon,.
Worse, illegal. Male gay sex wasn't made legal until 1967, when Biggins was 19.

Why is biphobia not enough? Replace Biggins with someone straight and edit their comments to be skewed against gay people and that would warrant it, so why do bisexual people, such as myself, have to watch him say things that are biphobic? I'm not saying Bear and Aubrey should still be there either, they so very obviously shouldn't.
To the best of my knowledge nobody has ever been ejected from BB for their homophobic comments. Homophobia and misogyny usually go unchallenged in a desperation for the producers (and people here on DS) to paint someone as racist instead.

Mind you BB never removed Jo O'Meara and Danielle Lloyd for their part in the racist bullying/taunting of Shilpa Shetty. They've been woefullly indiscriminate in how they discipline people for a long long time.

I don't get it either. He does not come across as being a confrontational type of person, in fact, quite the opposite in fact, unlike a lot of previous BB housemates.
I have always quite liked Biggins, I remember seeing him on Mathew Wright the morning of Kate and William's wedding, he made a hilarious remark about Bea's hat, quite spontaneous. I remember laughing for ages afterwards.
Anyway, I have stopped watching it, they are such an awful bunch who are left.

I absolutely detest PC Great Britain. No one can say a word out of place, think before you speak.

My daughter who is now 23 was in primary school age 8 and she said her friend had lovely golden brown skin. Oh well, all hell broke lose! The girl told the teacher, the teacher told the mother, and the mother stormed into the school, hence my daughter got told off by the headmistress! As my daughter has Aspergers she didn't bring this up untill years later and was terrified of repeating what happened, too late for me to respond. This incident had a profound impact on her life, and now is scared of saying the wrong things too people, which is hard given her condition.

So i repeat, do gooders have ruined this country.

This is unreal.

That wasn't enough to get kicked out for in my opinion.
Agreed. And if BB was that concerned about his thoughts 'upsetting the masses', then why did they air his thoughts.
