Wrong, I don't think too many people get hung up on what demographic are saying what about another. If it smells like shit and sounds like shit then most people are able to dismiss extreme views as the shit it is.

I voted no. Not because I didn't find what he said incredibly stupid and the man's an idiot, but because I don't think people would be kicked out for anything they say. Let the public decide.

He said a disease was the fault of a community, he'd been warned several times before, if he'd said it about the gay, Jewish, Islamic community the outrage would of be higher. Big Brother is being consistent and not cherry picking which communities can be insulted and which don't warrant a reaction.

How can anyone say no when the Nazi stuff was covered up

That's what he was evicted for and why it's been covered up
What Nazi stuff? I missed this somehow!

I don't think he is campaigning against us exactly but he has got a point..... AIDS did spread in one way by having sex with multiple partners and it was scientifically proved that when it was more prolific in the gay community initially and then started to move into the heterosexual community the spread was attributed to men who were gay but still have heterosexual sex. This was mid to late 80s when being gay was not as accepted so men were still in marriages to "cover up " .
It was also spread through people using used needles in the mid-80s.

No, people are too sensitive.

It's not like it's an elected member of parliament saying it, it's some old panto creep. Who gives a damn.

a) It wasn't a straight guy who said it...it was gay guy who was having a conversation and speaking from his own personal perspective as a gay man who married a woman when he was in his twenties because he felt pressured to do so ....he may be wrong in his views but surely he has the right to express his own personal opinion based on his own personal experience?....

b) not enough people watch this shite anymore to form a crowd ...let alone the plural of the word

It sounded like he believed in a conspiracy theory but so did Rennee. I know a few intelligent people who believe in daft conspiracies.
A conspiracy theory that deliberately seeks to blame bisexuals for AIDS. I don't understand why most people find homophobia offensive, but think biphobia is ok/???

If someone had said to Biggins that gay people were to blame for the spread of HIV/AIDS, he would have been furious.

They were right to remove him, they should have done it sooner.

NB There are others that I think should be removed as well, but that just shows how low BB/CBB has sunk these days, that many housemates shouldn't have been allowed in the house in the first place.

What he said was stupid conspiracy theory nonsense which he is entitled to believe if he wants.
I didn't find it remotely offensive though.

No but I still think it was awful what he said. He clearly has a disturbing hatred for bi-sexual people. It would be nice to get some more clarification on what he said to Katie aswell.
I don't believe he has a "disturbing hatred for bisexual people" at all. I think that probably for many gay men who lived a large part of their lives knowing they could be sent to prison if their sexuality was discovered the concept of any of the multitude of ways people now choose to describe themselves - without any fear of criminal proceedings against them - other than gay or straight is far too complex for them to comprehend.

In an ideal world personal views or theories expressed would be challenged by other HMs but of course people don't listen to other HMs and clearly nobody in there found his theory unpalatable enough to challenge.

It seems pretty extraordinary to me that people who physically frighten fellow HMs should remain but Biggins has to leave.

He doesn't have the right to project his personal experience onto other people. I'm straight, but I have no right to project my sexual experiences onto everyone else. Just because he lied, doesn't mean everyone else did.

The gay community suffered terribly because of HIV/AIDS. Both because of the physical impact and the prejudice. Instead of trying to fight that prejudice, Biggins is simply trying to shift the hate to another group.

It wasn't ok to blame the gay community and it isn't ok to blame bisexuals either.

I find someone spitting in someone else's food and then BB allowing that food to be consumed far mor offensive than anything CB said. Why didn't they just show the clip and let the public speak through the vote as to what they think of opinions expressed, controversial or otherwise!
I agree with this and although I voted No in the poll I do think that considering Biggins is gay he is very bigoted against bi sexuals!

I wonder if something was said that was really unacceptable and Biggin's management have got their lawyers onto it and 'shut it down'.

Saying that though the other HM's seems totally bemused and confused.

Surely if it was the Aids convo, Renee said much the same as Biggins (if not more).
Exactly. So if Biggins had to go why didn't Renee have to go as well.

Of course I can't comment on what may or may not have been said regarding Katie and 'that' subject. It's no good speculating either.

As far as I'm concerned if they can accept Bear's behaviour and let him stay, then Biggins shouldn't have been removed for opinions that others may not like.
