He doesn't have the right to project his personal experience onto other people. I'm straight, but I have no right to project my sexual experiences onto everyone else. Just because he lied, doesn't mean everyone else did.

Bizarre decision by BB - unless there was much worse that we didn't see.
What Bear has and is doing is much worse and many of the HM's are constantly saying that they feel bullied and threatened by him but he is allowed to run roughshod over them all. I am finding this CBB very bizarre |

This is my thought exactly. Biggins has some questionable view points that can be argued against and the viewers can decide. But Bear has shown aggressive behaviour that should have been dealt with better. We should not be giving Bear air time and making people like him famous for just being aggressive arsehole.

I don't believe he has a "disturbing hatred for bisexual people" at all. I think that probably for many gay men who lived a large part of their lives knowing they could be sent to prison if their sexuality was discovered the concept of any of the multitude of ways people now choose to describe themselves - without any fear of criminal proceedings against them - other than gay or straight is far too complex for them to comprehend.
In an ideal world personal views or theories expressed would be challenged by other HMs but of course people don't listen to other HMs and clearly nobody in there found his theory unpalatable enough to challenge. It seems pretty extraordinary to me that people who physically frighten fellow HMs should remain but Biggins has to leave. |

No way should Biggins have been removed, we've seen other housemates do and say things much worse than discussing HIV
exactly - we only saw the bisexual comment which Renee agreed with so why wasn't she pulled up on it. They didn't need to show what was said to night and again Renee was saying similar things.

I am finding this CBB very bizarre
I don't think they have the capability to handle it to be honest, that's why it's such an awful mess! No continuity at all.....the 'explanation' of Biggins being removed was extremely bizarre, if what we saw what was we were supposed to believe! This production team of BB have no control over that house, or else Bear would have been removed and also Aubrey, they're actions have been inexcusable......well I can understand Aubrey's but still.....not acceptable! Lewis even looks scared of Bear! |

A conspiracy theory that deliberately seeks to blame bisexuals for AIDS. I don't understand why most people find homophobia offensive, but think biphobia is ok/???
![]() If someone had said to Biggins that gay people were to blame for the spread of HIV/AIDS, he would have been furious. They were right to remove him, they should have done it sooner. NB There are others that I think should be removed as well, but that just shows how low BB/CBB has sunk these days, that many housemates shouldn't have been allowed in the house in the first place. ![]() |

Well I actually thought that it was more racist than homophobic or anti bisexual. He suggested that HIV originally came from Africa and there is no proof in that. Many conspiracies have a tinge of racism, anti semitic or homophobia to them.
He didn't actually say that but.... http://www.theaidsinstitute.org/node/259 |

The same could be said regarding Bear and his behaviour. Yet, for some that seems acceptable.

I didn't find anything he said offensive. I have found a great deal offensive however, and nothing has been done about that!!! It makes me very angry. Food contamination, violence, vandalism, threatening behaviour, thuggery is all fine, and yet voice an opinion and you're out?? Makes no sense whatsoever. And finally... I don't think he hates bisexuals at all. He hasn't said that once. He just doesn't understand it. And that's fine. There are a lot of things I don't understand (such as the behaviours I mention above for instance) ... am I not allowed to voice it? Free speech, my *rse. |

True. I don't agree with Biggins, but that's his opinion and he should be allowed to express it. When housemates are saying they're scared of Bear he should be removed immediately for the safety and well being of the others. Aggressive and threatening behaviour shouldn't be tolerated at all. CBB get your priorities in order, please.
Biggins was expressing his opinion. I didn't personally find it that offensive at all. I may not agree with his opinion, but he has the right to one. Obviously the Katie incident is another matter entirely, which they haven't aired. I'd be more concerned that someone doesn't eventually get a right hander from the obnoxious Bear. He should be removed as far as I'm concerned.

I thought that BB said he had already had 3 warnings, so the comments they showed on Sunday were the 4th warning he had about unacceptable language. The way they were talking to him, was like they were trying to protect him and his reputation from himself, they said that they had explained what he had said, and that they asked him if he understood what he had done wrong, and he had said that he did, but then kept repeating things likely to cause offence, so I think they were worried that he didn't understand where he was going wrong, he was just going to continue saying things that were offensive and ruin his career. The fact that they mentioned the Katie comments, without telling us anything more, is like BB want us to know that there is actually a lot more to this, but that they wont or cant tell us.
