... there was no such rant - he made a comment (whether ill-judged or otherwise) in jest, not a rant...
... the footage wasn't broadcast ... It makes the rest of the post irrelevant. |

Its the Express. The same newspaper that keeps reporting how people who voted remain at the referendum are doing Britain down, and apparently the pound dropping like a stone is a triumph for Brexit. Wipe your bum on it, wrap your chips in it -not both at the same time, yuk! - but mostly ignore it.

I'm not dismissing the rest of your post, in which you made several good points but, since the content in question wasn't broadcast, how do you know it was a jest in poor taste rather than an anti-Semitic rant?
It took them four days. I personally believe it was something off colour that Katie could cope with but maybe not think funny. I think the Bisexual comments were the issue BB had with him and it was the first comment that was the most offensive, So when he reiterated his thoughts but in a toned down version he was asked to leave. BB has a hair trigger on some issues due to the international controversy created by Jade Goody etc to Shilpa Shetty. BB has to be seen to be in control and as such will make a scapegoat. This series is close to the edge and by culling a big figure it may keep the lid on all of the other elements/ housemates that are driving this series. |

These days with "hate speech" being a crime.
It wouldn't surprise me if he was questioned. |

A police probe for a joke? Presumably Waissel's mother would have asked what his comment was, and perhaps she was assuming it was much more than than when she first heard about it.

IF it had been a 'rant' then BB would have evicted him much, much sooner if only to protect Katie from that sort of behaviour.
