People will forever be questioning if what we're provided with is the whole entire truth.

I knew BB interfered more now a days but covering up something so big really does make you question their whole entire process.

They love controversy and to shock and offend, yet they are very selective in what they air and what they hide. the shows lost a lot of credibility tonight.

So Ch5 go out of their way to say the transcript was '100% fake', then Biggins just goes to the Sun and basically admits it was real...XD

I thought it was weird that they threw him out over the AIDS discussion.... not because it wasn't wrong for him to talk about it (it was), but because BB would normally just not air something like this, and no-one would be any the wiser. It only 'offends' the public if it's aired to the public, right?

Do you know what I think happened ...
Dan Wooten showed him the transcript that was here last night and he thought "F8ck" then apologised for everything in advance.

What I want to know is how the subject arose in the first place. It's possible that somebody else made a concentration camp related comment and Biiggins continued the theme. It does seem an odd comment to make, if there is no other connected comment. Eg In the DR he had used the word s---, he then used the word again in another context(just had a good s---?). The 2nd use only arose because of the 1st use. When you hear or think something, the brain will come up with all sorts of connected and associated things of one sort or another.

Just trying to find an explanation for what at the moment seems an odd comment to make, "out of the blue".

C5 have alot of explaining to do. As they have dug a big hole for themselves.

Even Martin Luther King's original Dream speech referred to 'Negroes', not black Americans.”

Martin Luther King made that speech in 1963. Literally 53 years ago. And even with him, it was only a few years later that other civil rights activists started to disagree with him on that.

The point is that a lot of years have passed since then. Even being born of a different generation only holds its power as an excuse for a few years. Its not an infinite defense in a world with global media.

Of course we are talking about this is relation to a transcript that may not even be real. Clearly while Biggins later defenses are still achingly stupid (using the "some of my best friends" rubbish), he definitely had time for someone to suggest to him that if he DID mention black people, for some reason, that there was a currently preferred term.

“I think it’s unfortunate that someone has decided to leak the story. Then they had to do something."

So the leak is the transcript?

I'm astounded a. That biggins thinks he can brush of serious comments so easily, particularly carrying it on by saying I could've said worse. b. BB have tried to cover the whole thing up until it was leaked......thank goodness it was.

What else are we kept in the dark about, terrible underhanded behaviour from BB.”

Let us not forget BB12's Jay shitting in the freezer incident!

They, she, or the group, had probably been talking about what it was like being trapped in the big brother house. Another row. Hating being in there etc.

Any apology that takes place after a HM has been told off by BB is about as genuine as the conversations on TOWIE”

Not when they'd been no indication offence from Katie.

Indeed. A cover up is not showing anything and saying he left due to ill health. It's not like anyone in the house was kicking up a fuss or speaking about stuff throughout the day that made it impossible to cover up in that way.

And ejecting someone over an ill judged joke isn't an over reaction?

If he'd said or done anything bad, the housemates wouldn't have been shocked and confused by his removal.

They could cover it up by not showing any of it and not removing him. It's not like the housemates were kicking up a fuss. They could also cover it up by not showing it and saying he left due to health reasons. The way they handled it is the opposite of covering it up. Their actions have drawn attention to it, encouraged speculation, and now conspiracy theories. All things that drum up interest in the show.

No. He says they were protecting him by not showing it. So he was fully aware of what was and wasn't to be shown. Which means it's entirely possible they negotiated what would be shown in reaching their settlement. Whether that's because he did something far worse he's not letting onto, or because he's done nothing that bad and he was going mad all day threatening to sue them. We'll never know as lawyers have obviously been involved and settlements reached.

He was including all kinds of bigotry because he was attempting to make the point he wasn't a bigot of any kind.

People have joked about horrible things for ever. As have people whilst experiencing such horrible things.

Indeed. But people get upset by ill judged jokes by minor celebs because that's where the authorities point people's attention. Allowing real atrocities to be carried out continuously by such authorities outside of people's awareness, so a minority can continue being rich.

That's nonsense. They could have given zero footage. They could have not ejected him. No one would be the wiser as none of the housemates were kicking up a fuss. If they wanted to eject him whilst protecting his career, they could have shown nothing and said it was ill health. They've done everything to attract attention to the show, encouraging all kinds of speculation and conspiracy theories in the process.

In the Sun article did no one notice his comment "it's not in my vocabulary that word"? What word Biggins? This was directly after his seemingly unrelated comment about his lovely black neighbours in Hackney.
He admits C5 were protecting him by not showing some comment and only acted when details were leaked on Friday . Do we know what was leaked if the transcript was fake?
Bizarre comment that he didn't realise what he meant by the shower comment to Katie but that it must have been about the gas chambers - it came out of your mouth mate so only you know the meaning!
But at least thanks to Biggins we know that Jewish, bi and black people are all lovely, lovely, lovely .😎

No. It was a lie. He made a clumsy and silly remark which he apologised to Katie for. A 67 year old man who's actually got some talent and has life experience was thrown out in his underpants while crude talentless nobodies who aren't even nice people are protected by BB.

Serves him right, comments like that aren't in the least a joking matter. Stupid ignorant man who clearly thinks it's acceptable to joke about things like that!

He's not that bloody old! Lots of people older than him manage to avoid joking about things like that!

Indeed so & it also looks like the producers really didn't want the public to know about it either! They tried to cover it up.

As for some of Biggins comments.........
Quote:
“Biggins said: “I think Channel 5 were trying to protect me by not screening it.

“I think it’s unfortunate that someone has decided to leak the story. Then they had to do something
.”

Quote:
““But in fact there was a casting director, a producer and somebody I didn’t know.

“They said: ‘We’re so sorry, this is terrible, we believe in you.’
