Foot -------> Mouth. Bye, darling!”
Classic victim blaming. Disgusting and shows that he doesn't really think that he did anything wrong

Whatever he said, if that is indeed his opinion then he should own up to it and not cop out by mentioning that he has Jewish and bisexual friends, and black neighbours (if he mentioned them, that is). I'd have bit more respect for him if he stood by everything he said in the house.”
He's covering all his options. He knows perfectly well that he has said things that are unacceptable and he's covering his backside - without realising that he's just dug himself a bigger hole.

The 2nd use only arose because of the 1st use. When you hear or think something, the brain will come up with all sorts of connected and associated things of one sort or another.
Just trying to find an explanation for what at the moment seems an odd comment to make, "out of the blue".”
It's the kind of joke that gets made to shocked gasps in the drag community (certainly in the 1980s when I used to frequent such places) where the more shocking the better. He is obviously too stupid to realise that what someone can get away with in a venue filled with a niche audience is totally wrong for saying in a public arena.

By the sound of things he's said an awful lot more than what he was ejected for, ch5 just chose not to show.
I think Biggin's problem is he believes all the hype about being the nation's sweetheart & can therefore say & do whatever the hell he likes, not this time you bigoted dinosaur.
Personally I'm glad he's been shown for what he really is, I've never liked the man, underneath all that "lovely, harmless Biggins & manic laugh" is, imo, a very unpleasant man.
As for the comparisons as to why Bear didn't get turfed out on his ear, there really is no comparison. Bear smashed a mirror & yes the idiot should've been shown the door but the difference is, nobody was hurt, he didn't verbally offend anyone with the likes of the revolting comment Biggins made. My reaction to Bear doing that was, what a plonker but my reaction to Biggin's comment was one of disgust.”
Spot on
There were a few occasions in IAC when I thought what a duplicitous fake his "lovely, harmless" persona was.
