Given that we only see ONE edited hour per day .... why create this drama at all !!

I am mystified that this issue with Biggins ever became public at all. The producers are in charge.... they decide out of 24 long hours what fifty odd minutes WE the public get to see, and with ad breaks.... thats about all we do get to see. It would be a different thing if the show went out live, then they would have to deal with it in some way.

BUT.... isn't the truth, they didn't have to show the conversation at all, could have skipped it completely and the show would have just continued with no need for this nonsense at all. The fact that Bear remains in there, a total TIT... who has smashed the mirrors and diary room door and has NOT been put out, in fact he was told that if he did anything again, the MAY have to take it further... MAY !!!!! And indeed he broke out of jail and still they did nothing again tonight about him.

Wooton has the exclusive interview with him in The Sun tomorrow so we will get his side of the story .. should be interesting.

Why should Biggins be protected in that way?

Never thought about that OP, if you think about it CBB is able to cut all the politically incorrect talk out without anyone knowing.

If they don't broadcast warnings etc, how do they expect people to understand when persistent offenders are eventually thrown out? Half the time you don't even see the incidents building up to these unaired warnings, or you only see small bits of them. They gloss over so much now.

In Biggins' case we did see some ignorant remarks but without seeing BB talk to him about them (he mentioned in The Sun he had been spoken to over the bisexual thing, which we never saw) you don't know that it could eventually result in his removal from the house, you assume BB has deemed it fine.

Keeping thug Bear in does rather prove the double standards as well.

Biggins said the joke was leaked otherwise they wouldn't have thrown him out based on the other stuff as they had been protecting him by not showing it.

I can imagine this sort of joke does the rounds on the Jewish comedy scene and he is used to hearing it around safer audiences, like Louis CK kind of humour. However, shared on a mainstream show like BB is clearly too risky as people may assume the joke is against the victims as opposed to the perpetrator, to make a horrific memory less painful.
