Can anyone recommend me an Android TV box for around £20-30?

I want one to basically use it to view my CCTV remotely in my office, and potentially use the Formula E app to view the races.

Do the android ones work similar to Android on phones?

I have this one upstairs, OK for the money, no problems.

I have a dual boot Android/Win 8.1 downstairs, great, bought from Gearbest when on offer at £61, best money I spent 6 months ago.

Always make sure you buy from EU warehouse and you get no custom problems, and it comes in a couple of days.

Be lucky

P.S. Not sure it will do what you want, try Google?

This should do you - £24.50 from Gearbest. And they do indeed work in a similar way to android phones - obviously the launcher is different, but you can still install and use apps from google play as you would on your phone.

I like Gearbest, but only buy from EU warehouse if you do, the only problem is if there is a problem YOU have pay and send it back to China. I posted the Amazon one because of their Customer Service, they pick up faulty items and replace them, Gearbest do nothing of the sort, you pay your money and take your chances. with Gearbest.

Thanks kriss57 and JasonWatkins.

I actually bought a TX1 box (like this) before you both replied.

So far it does everything I wanted of it. I find it easier to use a keyboard and mouse to use it just like a mini PC.
It allows me to use the App I have on my phone to view my cameras, the Formula E app works fine so far.

The launcher being different is not an issue, because I have just installed a launcher from the Play store that has given me a launcher screen that looks almost identical to what I am used to on a phone.

That's a decent little box for the price. All of this "jailbroken" stuff is nonsense though because you can't "jailbreak" android boxes. You can root them if they're not already rooted, but the "jailbroken" tag is just inaccurate.
