Buy petite trousers
Hi
I was looking for some tips on where the best place is to buy petite trousers for work . I'm 5ft 1 ( size 14 )and find that most trousers i buy in the petite section are still too long . For the last 6 years i've been dressed down at work but now starting a new business dress job and the hunt for suitable trousers is driving me crazy ! Thanks |

Principles Petite by Ben De Lisi do a good range of smarts and casual. I got some lovely ones from Debenhams. They fit great

I hate that word 'petite'. I prefer 'short *rse'.

M&S short trousers are at least 2 or 3 inches too long for me. I am 4ft 11ins. Bon Marche do make a shorter length trouser but their styles are not too modern. I now only buy trousers that I can shorten easily with the sewing machine. Cotton is the easiest.
