Can't sign in under another user on Netflix on Samsung Tv
I want to sign in to Netflix using another set of credentials on my Samaung TV but it won't let me. It seems to be hard coded with my previous email address and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to reset this.
I've turned it off/on again, reinstalled the app but nothing works. My Tv won't let me remove the app for some reason. |

It cannot be hard coded with you old credentials. How could Samsung possibly know what to code into the app?
![]() So the settings must be stored somewhere. If you can't remove the app how can you re-install it? Some apps are built into the firmware of the set so can't be changed without changing the firmware. Might be a tad drastic but you may have to use the Factory Reset option. This will return the set to the condition it was in the very first time you switched it on. You will lose all TV tuning data and any custom picture/audio etc settings you have made. But is may also zap wherever your old Netflix settings are stored. |

It's the same on the Roku app, there's no way to log out within the app itself.
You need to log into that netflix account on the web, then under 'Your Account' there's an option to sign out of devices. It's signs you out on all devices though IIRC, there's no option to choose devices... |

UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT UP UP UP UP You will the have a page on screen giving you the option to deactivate this account. Once deactivated you will then have the original Netflix screen offering you to sign up for free trial or sign in. If the above does not work, try signing in to Netflix, once loaded press the info button on the TV remote, navigate to deactivate by pressing the down button then select, original page will appear as above. |

OK, so I've finally managed to log out, however I now have another issue.
The new credentials I'm using seem to be stuck at stage 2 of the ordering process (the screen that selects which package you want), and now there's seemingly no way of getting out of this screen!! I'll try the shortcut key combination above and see what happens. Why is this app so infuriating!!?? |

The other way to log out would of been to login to Netflix via browser and then select to sign out from all devices.

Why not just pay for the service rather than trying to cheat another free deal out of it?
