I use it too as in 'sticky beak' - someone who is always sticking their nose in other people's business. Heavy got too close to home there, that's why she got annoyed.
It doesn't mean you a have beak literally, it's not about nose size etc, it means you are nosey. It isn't an offensive comment, or I have never believed it to be. Was used quite commonly where I grew up in London.

Well where I come from to say someone has a beak has nothing to do with their nose size its just that they're always personal and can't keep out of someones business.

He was also right when he said Lewis had the personality of a lettuce. He can see exactly what the Lewis clique is like too.
He's often not that articulate but that doesn't mean he can't see things, most of the audience are probably too shallow to see that though.

"Sticking yer beak in" means "You are a nosey get", where I live.
