Who on earth does Heavy D think he is, looking as fat and ugly as he does.. He has no right to say that to a woman. Comments like that can really hurt and damage a persons self esteem. He needs to look in the mirror before insulting and picking on other people's appearances
It's not insulting her neb though , so not personal in the least .
She's nosy , that's a fact 👃👃👃

He's spot on too , where there is trouble she's in there vying for air time hoping to win the Nobel Peace Prize . She's what we call a sticky-beak and needs to butt out .

Good old Saira, everybody telling her to stop sticking her oar in but she just can't help it. Stating 'But that's who I am' is her only defense.

I like her though, she's very unusual, especially now that she's fawning over Bear.

I use that word often to people. People in the North DO use that word often so she must be offended by A LOT of people being from the North!!
Yes we use to use it a lot in the South too, 'Stop putting your sticky beak in' other people's business! Spot on for Saira!

I don't think you understand. In working class communities north and south saying to someone something like 'Keep your beak out' has nothing to do with what their nose looks like.

lost in translation, if he had just said you are a nosy bastard, then this misunderstanding would never have happened

Well who the bloody hell is going round thinking it means 'large nose' then? We've covered every base here!

Do any of you still call noses 'conks' or 'hooters'?

Yep. Conk, snout, beak. And my uncle used to say 'Shut ya trunk!' and my one mate from Yorkshire says stop poking your snit in.

Neb, beak, hooter, conk, snout, whatever, Saira needs to stop poking it in other peoples business.

Wow nice comments...................I do not think he meant BEAK literally!
But go you with your personal attacks on people, bet you were nice in the school playground.....

The irony in your forum name.....

How hypocritical. You talk about being insulting then you call him fat and ugly.

Absolutely. I detest the way she says she is strong and opinionated when she is actually rude, bossy and condescending.

Can't stand Heavy (a mixture of pity and annoyance rolled into one) however, he was spot on with the beak comment. She does tend to stick her oar in. Kind of liked (that's being generous) her...before she did a Jale, and got in with the 'cool gang'.

I'd say it meant nosey and interfering and I'd say she was aware of that too but by making it about her appearance she'll get sympathy.

He didn't say "sticking her beak in" though. It was more something like she had a beak on her which she could easily have taken as a personal remark. I must admit that's what I thought he meant and if that was the case she had a right to be offended. If he meant sticking her beak in then he was right but if he was making a personal remark about her nose then it was rude
