Loving Ricky. Just because he won't get involved in conflict doesn't make him two faced. He is just a nice bloke.

It's so sad these days to witness people admiring housemates for sheer thuggery.

No, because he runs into the diary room and goes behind their backs to have a quite a venomous bitch about them while playing the nice guy to their faces.

He's the least up front and most two-faced person in that house.

Everything you say is so right about him...he is sly.

We're not party to most of his conversation s he was the driving force behind the sketch with Heavy D.
I've had these comments for anyone I supported on the last bb.
I like others too just think he's a funny guy as when he's appeared on chat shows.

I like Ricky - one of the few I do like. I think he's made his feelings clear - what's the point of engaging in conversation with those trashy reality show chavs.

Me too.

I dont understand all the two faced and slsgging people off behind their back comments. Like anyone, when he is talking to his friends he says what he thinks about people he has to live with who are not his friends. WE ALL do that day in and day out.

I am sure the people who use the two faced and slagging off behind their back comments have never discussed things they dont like about some people to the people they do like, at work or at home

Why would any person NORMAL person go up to people they dont like and have a conversation about how much they dont like them, knowing that they will become confrontational, intimidating and have it in for you. No NORMAL person wants to put up with that crap especially when the person they dont like have their mateys who will stand by them and then you have them all up against you, including people who say things like "we need to find our next target"

I do not like the man who sells tickets at my local station but I have to deal with him a few times a week. He knows I dont like him from my tone, but I would not say "oi mate your a complete knobhead". Many passengers have said the same, so someone please explain why they feel I should not discuss what a dick he is with other passengers, if I dont tell him to his face and making an already unpleasant situation worse and risking him deciding to take his tea break everytime I get to the front of the que.

I could go to another station to buy my ticket, but Ricky and others are stuck in that house with people they dont like and they are entitled to discuss it with others who feel the same as him. I am sure if he felt he could have a sensible conversation with the likes of bear he would say something but he knows what bear is like and has gone in to the house for reasons other than to be arguing and screaming and shouting.

Ricky, Sam, Frankie,James etc have not gone into the house to be having confrontations or are constantly doing things to get airtime, unlike some of the sad muppets in there that some people seem to think are hilarious because they like to goad and wind up others or have showmances because their personality alone would get them little or no airtime otherwise

No it wouldn't. But that's not what people mean when they say somebody is two-faced.
Two-faced is exactly what it sounds like. Having one face for a person when in their company and a different face for when they are not.

Exactly. Most people don't seem to know what the word means.

I myself have been two-faced in life when appropriate with people whom I care nothing for, and don't feel one bit guilty about it. I have confronted people as well, but only when it was a necessity. Confrontation is only appropriate when there's some kind of purpose there may be some purpose in taking on Bear and Marnie etc. to take them down a peg or two, but I don't think Ricky is the man to do it, personally.

Confrontation without purpose is just sheer aggression for aggression's sake, and has been used by COUNTLESS Big Brother contestants to justify their own nasty thuggery. In some cases, it has been used to justify outright bullying (Lesley BB6 and Katie Hopkins spring to mind). Helen Wood also excused a lot of her own cruelty
with the lame excuse 'I was telling it like it is,' but her eruptions at Matthew just look completely illogical from a viewer standpoint, and were rooted in bulldozing her way to the power centre of the house

I liked Ricky a lot until I saw him laughing his head off at Aubrey spitting in the food/drink.
I spat in someone's tea once when I was 16, but threw it & made a new one because I thought how much I would hate it if someone did that to me.

Watch the VT again Pinglet. He looked in shock and walked out of the room with his hands in the air saying "oh my god, oh my god". That was after the sandwich, when Aubrey spat into the tea, Ricky wasn't there, she was talking to Siara and Grant was there too.

Absolutely. Ricky is behaving like the majority of us adults have to do each day of their lives. You may be irked by a work colleague or some such person but you avoid ill-feeling and confrontation by expressing it to someone you can confide in. That doesn't make you sly or two faced. It makes you diplomatic and mature.

Bear, Lewis and Marnie exist in their own reality tv bubble in which confrontation is probably expected of them but for someone like Ricky as an actor who's used to working in an ensemble cast like Eastenders he'll know the importance of tact and diplomacy or else he'd never work again.

It's like when people on here slag off housemates for bitching in the diary room rather than saying it to people's faces but again unless it led to a productive outcome why would you vent off to someone you don't like or care for just to receive antagonism back from them?
