We had the same with Farrah Abraham then the show basically died when she was evicted.
People get caught up in the rights and wrongs of their behaviour and disputes and forget we're here to be entertained first and foremost (that much they do achieve). |

Not to mention they are giving the other housemates their only chance of airtime
If it wasn't for the opportunity the 'squad' gives them to engage, the others would be spending their entire time 'working out' or eating toast I disagree. I think that their OTT antics and persistent provocation of situations actually stifles the rest of the house, after all we've seen what happens when people stand up to the likes of Lewis. |

It was boring when Abraham was turfed out, she was even more fun on the outside with her row with Aisleyne on BOTS. I didn't like her as a person but she was entertaining.

Is it the baiting of the vulnerable, the trashing of rooms, the clumsy kissing and groping or witty mixing of coffee and pineapple that "fans" of Lewis and Bear are most entertained by?

Virtually every thread started during and after the show tonight is about them. Whether you love them (me) or loathe them, they are the show.
They are creating all the moments we are talking about. They are stirring up controversy and creating chaos that is brilliant to watch. If they are evicted, we'll be left with a bunch of old people drinking tea and coffee and dreaming about the years when they were still relevant. |

They are creating the show and the moments because the sodding producers are obsessed by them and will not show anything else. I would have thought after Jasons win in the civilian version you ageist lot would have realised the older contingent are more interesting than a bunch of uneducated morons with no work ethic and a penchant for intimidating behaviour. They are not interesting they are louts and scum.

I am sorry BUT I do not want to watch someone fire coffee into a bowl and claim it as being a cocktail I don't want to watch people locking lips and touching up in the pool I don't want to watch someone bullying another for their own ends.... Lewis is a BORE what has he brought to the house besides nasty comments and aggression........BEAR is ACTUALLY BETTER in my eyes now......at least BEAR admits he is a tw** whereas Lewis pretends to be Mr Nice Guy but really is a little fool with nothing going on in his life... |

I kind of hope Bear stays long enough for BB to show the housemates the footage of him versus the security guard.

My interpretation of being entertained is something that makes me smile or that gives me enjoyment from watching. Bear and Lewis do not fit that criteria in any way, shape or form. |

I accept that not everyone will find them interesting or entertaining. But this forum is proof that the majority do find them compelling characters because they are the housemates everyone is posting about on here - whether negatively or positively. They are the focal point of most of the discussion.
He's not actually a bad person at all. His chats with Saira are evidence of that. Lewis has been leading #TEAMSQUAD, he played a major role in the hilarious pranking and has been involved in some crazy arguments. Not all of them have been shown in the highlights package, but he's usually playing a central role in the live from the house action every night with Bear and Marnie. ![]() ![]()

The premise that Big Brother was a social experiment is long gone and that the producers think we'd be entertained by the likes of these two individuals is a sad reflection on parts of our society. If these lads are admired and respected for the way they behave, I despair for our future. |

And their living is made on continuing to be louts and gross people so... that's that. I don't watch Geordie Shore because I don't get entertainment out of watching young girls be encouraged to pull each others hair out and have sex on camera. For me it's not entertainment I find it totally depressing.. |

Let's use some culture, dramatic entertainment and history to illustrate my feelings on the matter...
It is but a walking shadow, a poor player who struts and frets his time apon the stage and is then heard of no more. It is a tale told by idiots, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. -Macbeth.
