I love iced coffee and have never made it myself,

Does anyone have a well tried and tested simple recipe using instant coffee?

I've done it for years, but I use ground coffee.

Brew it strong and freeze in ice-cube trays. Mix one or two cubes with full fat milk - voila iced coffee, just the way you like it

Make an espresso strength coffee. Pour over crush iced. Add a little sugar if you like and top up with carnation evap milk. Just like the Greeks do. Yummy

I don't make it very often at home but I do love an iced coffee (and iced tea) when on holiday in a hot country. It's the perfect drink to pass the time until it's respectable to have a beer. I only ever have mine black though. I would just pour a strong coffee over ice. Some people blend the coffee and ice together but I like to keep the ice cube whole.

I drink the dolce gusto ones and they are really nice.

Coffee, sugar (if you like it), ice cubes, all into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously.

Pour into a glass, a lovely Italian Caffè Shakerato.

If you like your iced coffee sweet and milky, a glug of Camp pseudo-coffee in a glass of very cold milk is pleasant.

Oh my, can you still get Camp coffee? I used to make a lovely coffee ice-cream with it.

I pour black coffee/espressos over loads of ice and then add almond milk (unsweetened). Shake it up and it's amazing.

I like it black, just coffee on the rocks. For some reason that confuses the heck out of the waitstaff, even at places like Starbucks.

You can, although my local Waitrose has stopped stocking it. It's brilliant for baking.
