I think he's a really interesting guy and I'd like to know more about him.
I wish Big Bro would show a bit more of the conversation side of him and Ricky and much less of the snogging side.

James to Win !

I like him, pouring coffee granules over Bear's head won me over.

He is definitely one of the more interesting people in the house.

I'm kinda indifferent to him right now. He does interesting and I'm sure could have a lot to say but we just haven't seen much of him thanks to "the squad" monopolizing all the airtime.

I like JW watched him years ago when he had a chat show and he took no prisoners. He did not get self promoting guests pushing their book/record deals but asked the celebs of the day hard questions.

He was making edgy telly literally before any of these (scripted) pseudo-edgy pond-dwellers were born

He brought Charlie Chuck to us too which I personally love him for

A real Marmite character of a man, insufferably condescending in tone but steadfastly truthful with it

A pioneer - of sorts - of irreverant TV and radio and no doubt a contributor to the very career bread the 'Squad' butter

You've seen by the Coffee over Bear incident that he doesn't shrink from the 'game-on' and given a more central role in a storyline he might surprise his detractors

I look forward to him snapping some time soon

I used to love The James Whale show when it was on but haven't heard him since. I was happy he went in and was looking forward to seeing him in there and hearing what he had to say but as has been mentioned, as long as they focus on the brainless idiots in there then we won't be getting the interesting conversation. Hopefully they'll be booted, or calm down and we'll get to hear more stimulating stuff.

Yes I like him. Unfortunately the people I would find interesting are getting very little air time.

I am with you....I used to love his show, sometimes through my hands as it was the first really controversial show. The brainless idiots think being controversial is running around snogging and hiding drink but it's having strong opinions and often different ones to the majority and airing them.......come on BB let us listen to James and Ricky more....I am sick of Bears squawking and Louis talking rubbish and missing everything under his nose....BORING

I think James is great and was chuffed when i heard he was rumoured to be going into the house. As previously said, he isn't getting much airtime (like many others), and love him or hate him he could be great tv if given a chance.
James all the way!!

It's rather sad to see how utterly neutered he is when you take away his 'terminate call' button.

Aye he had a couple. One was deceptively called 'the james whale radio show' and used to go out in the 'back from the clubs' hour on late night itv... and was a bit of a freak-show format. The other was called 'Whale On' but I don't recall ever watching that one.

I enjoy listening to what he has to say when we get a chance to see him. BB prefers to focus on the 'pretend' passionate snogging with lots of tongues. Yeuck Is it just me or are they REALLY highlighting the tongue action on this BB?

If only he had one (or its equivalent) in there.

If only we could have a cull of all the brainless talentless loud ones, we might actually get some interesting conversation from JW and some of the others. We might even get to know a bit more about them, which is what I think CBB is or should be about. For example, I would like to know whether having had kidney cancer has mellowed the old rascal at all.
