I thought he was going to want to leave after the night Grant and Biggins were both evicted/removed as I imagined he'd have no-one to talk to, but he seems quite chilled in there atm. It's a better balance having someone like him in there imo.

I like him. He does seem an oasis of calm in the sea of ****tiness.

I'd love to see him win it, he's a good bloke and quite entertaining. He's one of those that will grow as the numbers are whittled down. I think he's got at least three evictions until he's up next, there are far bigger fishes to fry in there at the moment.

Yeah I like James, he's probably having some really interesting conversations in the house but of course we'll never get to hear any of them, not while the Shite Squad are about

James to Win ! ”

James whale was one of the reasons I started watching this cbb, shame we haven't been allowed to see more of him.

I like James. He's calm and articulate which is probably why the producers allow him little airtime and prefer to concentrate on the dregs of trashy reality shows. I mean who wouldn't prefer to listen to the stimulating conversations of Bear and Co or watch Chloe and Marnie straddling Lewis and Bear. If I have to endure the fake snogging of Lewis and Marnie any more I'll need a sick bag.

I was a fan of him before he went on. He does seem to be holding back and waiting to leave right now which is a shame. Hope that will change.

I like James a lot he talks a lot of sense unlike some in there ( Bear , Lewis , Marnie and Chloe ) its a shame we cannot just remove them .Have some FUN tasks instead of the nasty ones BB seems to like and enjoy CBB for a change .

The problem we have is that more people like Whale don't want to do it.

Yes he is one of my favourites.

It was interesting to see he was only nominated once this week.

I like him. It's good to have someone in who isn't a screaming, shouting, promiscuous attention seeker.

I really like him and would love to see more of him but I think, sadly, he's in the wrong CBB. I always feel sorry for the reasonably intelligent and 'normal' HMs who end up having to share time and space with the bone-withering, mind-numbing RTV morons that have taken over this show.

Far more depth than the snoggers.

I'm a fan, have been for a long time. Again id rather listen to conversations with him, Ricky, Sam and the Americans that listen to slurping.

Empty vessels and all that.

I'm liking James too. Does anyone think he sounds a lot like Nigel Farage?

He has a really dry sence of humour, which some might not get. As usual it is the trashy reality clique that get all the airtime, so unless they get booted out we won't get to see him or the others.

I would be happy with him, Sam and Ricky as the final three.

Agreed. Leaving asap might be good for him if his heart isnt in it.
Used to listen to him on radio when he had brummie Ash as his producer and Jim from Brighton was a regular bizaare caller. He championed Tony Martin and was very anti lout behaviour so he defo is holding back - probably wisely.

Loved the banter between him and Ash. Yeah it might be best for him to get voted out. Want him to get his fee but worried he might walk.

James was a man that gave me endless amounts of pleasure in the midnight hours
Whilst I was in bed. (Talk radio).

Hes keeping the best side to him hidden I think, or the edit of HL is against him.

So far he's the one I want to win, to be honest.

He seems very intelligent and witty, and crucially he has a greater level of awareness of what the show is/means than anyone in there. Even as a 22 year old I understand exactly where he's coming from most of the time, even though the boneheads in there don't.

He needs more airtime, but to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if he made it to the final. He's the only housemate that appeals to a particular voting base. (I.e. The ones who voted Aaron to win and for the Shannon twins in their CBB series).
