What on earth does she mean? If I was developing someone!! Who does she think she is and why does she assume she has the higher moral ground to develop anyone at all. She's just awful and in her own way as hideous as Bear and Heavy. Either her or Bear to go PLEASE!

If I was developing Bear, I think the kindest thing I could do for him would be to bring him to the vet to be humanly euthanised.

I like Saira, always offering behavioural advice oblivious of her own shortcomings and how much she annoys her fellow HMs. Keep her in.

This is one of the things that annoys me about Saira. As-well as her apparent need to mention that she's a "strong woman" every other sentence.

Yeah she is a busy body and pushy etc. But actually has had quite an interesting life experience and perhaps of a type that can be used to inspire and inform younger people.

I only know her from the documentary she made about adopting an abandoned baby girl in Pakistan. Had Siara not been pushy etc that little girl would have starved to death as a 'valueless' unwanted female child.

Seemingly she also fought the arranged marriage her parents had planned, instead marrying a white British guy. She went through IVF to bear her first child and then adoted the second from Pakistan.

As the daughter of immigrant factory workers got herself to university and succeeded in her career aspirations. I think that makes her something of a role model even if she says so herself.

Perhaps, should those young people wish to be aspire to become an over-opinionated reality TV z-lister

She has? Doesn't feel like that long ago we were introduced to her on The Apprentice, where she made out her career aspirations were to be an skilled business women and get a job with suralan.

Or was she just there like so many, without any interest in the show at all other than to get her face on TV?

I have to admit it gets my goat something chronic every time a supposedly serious business wannabe from the apprentice instead goes onto a TV career. It questions their integrity and motives for being on the show in the first place. Not the characteristics of anyone worthy of my respect.

She meant in her head to develop an opinion of them, nothing sinister or superior about it.

To be fair, Bear could do with a lot more developing. He's quite base at the moment.

You're right, that is both interesting and inspiring

There's a lot of implied criticism in her wording. Also reveals a very controlling mentality, which has been demonstrated in this series.

I suspect if someone said that to her, she'd be upset because of the implied superiority and criticism in the phrase.

Saira will probably go. Can't imagine many wanting to save her. Her exit won't make much difference to the show.

No, I don't think so - this was about supposedly coaching someone to improve.

She has a high opinion of herself and her supposed intelligence. Her mind and her mouth run away from her all the time. Hence all the IFs.

IF you are racist tell me so I can stay away from you.

IF you punch people tell me so I can ensure my safety.

IF the ridiculous bint was as clever as she thinks she is she would shut up, listen and stop making herself look foolish every time she speaks.

I think she has the hubris to think she is like some self-help guru who can tell people how to live their lives.
It doesn't appear to have been picked up on that much but it's been quite a frequent pattern of behaviour she has when she's told various housemates that they have so much potential in life.....BUT they need to make changes which she recommends. Based on little more than her fussy subjective opinion of what she herself likes or doesn't like.

In other words "Be just like me and you'll be perfect in every way".

I kind of inderstand. Bear hasn't developed beyond the terrible twos. He's still throwing tantrums. If Saira can get him through that stage without having to put him on the naughty step then she's done well.

Those poor children - if she is this pushy with strangers I dread to think how controlling she is / will be of the ones she actually is responsible for.

I thought Frankie handled it quite well in last nights show but I fear for her to "develop" herself someone needs to tell her in a far more direct way.

Someone should tell her that if they were to "develop someone".............. But then she'd call them rude for doing it.

Time to stop enabling him then which is what she is doing with the "I love you" type comments and acknowledgements.

Saira has a lot more life-experience than Bear, if he would be quiet for a couple of minutes and listen he might learn something.
I doubt she will get him to though.

Sorry, I was joking. They are both egotistical bores. Full of their own importance.

But she has developed a business. She has made TV and speaking her business.

it seems her talents lie in doing well for herself, trying to get others to do well for themselves she seems completely out of her depth

I certainly agree that she seems socially awkward and that great empathy doesn't seem to be one of her gifts. Mind you I could probably count the number of really empathetic housemates, over the years, on my fingers.
