Oasis - What are their best songs?
Also the same question for the spin off Oasis bands.

I've been proper obsessing over Stop Crying Your Heart Out these past weeks. What a truly stunning song so poignant.
My other faves Champagne Supernova Cast No Shadow Live Forever I'm Outta Time (Liam can be a quality songwriter when he tries) Half the World Away Stand By Me Go Let It Out Supersonic I find Wonderwall so overrated. |

So very many.
Rock n' Roll Star, Live Forever, Columbia, Supersonic, Bring it on Down, Cigarettes and Alchohol, Slide Away, Whatever, Some Might Say, Cast No Shadow, Morning Glory, Champagne Supernova, DYKWIM, Don't Go Away, Go Let It Out, Gas Panic, Songbird, Turn Up the Sun, TIOBI, The Shock of the Lightning, Falling Down, The Turning, Acquiesce, Underneath the Sky, Talk Tonight, Fade Away, Sad Song, Rocking Chair, Listen Up, Half the World Away, The Masterplan, Let's All Make Believe, Shout It Out Loud....... All great songs IMO. Ask me tomorrow and that list will probably change. 😂 |

Don't look back in anger was always a firm favourite of mine as a mainly Noel Gallagher fan but have come to like other songs of theirs even more and some sang by Liam. I like Lyla, the importance of being idle and little by little. But my favourite now is definitely Go let it out.

By the way has anyone read the Wikipedia page for the "Be Here Now" album?? so much drama wow. I'm surprised they didn't split before it even got released or at least following that album.

'dont look back in anger ' was imho the consummate pop song. one of the best ever composed.
i like most of their earlier work, 'cigarettes and alcohol' another of my favs. 'the importance of being idle' was great too... |

"D'You Know What I Mean?" is getting a bit of airplay since the re-think thing and I've been listening to Be Here Now lately. I really do like that album.
Also...The Masterplan, Half The World Away, Cigarettes and Alcohol (I think that was the first one to make me sit up and want to hear more) and obviously Don't Look Back In Anger. Also, to hear Liam's vocals at their sweetest, Married With Children. |

whatever is always my fav as it captures that birth and upbeat here we are to the world in 94. it was how i first heard them and sat up and thought "i actually like that tune and i haven't said that in many years about a new song"
it had the zeitgeist. optimism! |
