Can someone briefly summarise what Katie did and why she's a celebrity please? All I know is that she went on X-factor (which I never watch) and had some kind of meltdown.

No idea but she does post some cutting and sarcastic comments on Twitter from time to time on various topical events - and no, I don't follow her.

Thanks granny - hmm, well that's interesting. So the 'sensitive and always-must-be-protected-katie' posts cutting and sarcastic comments on twitter safe behind her screen does she? Why have we not seen that side of her in the house? Is she a coward?

I don't think so. She does seem quite articulate with some great put downs which she gives her name to. Producers just seem to want to portray her as the eternal victim.

She acted like a dick splash in X factor, one of the last series i watched actually, is a mediocre singer and her grandma is a prostitute which 'added' to her celebrity at the time.

That's its! Not a celebrity at all.”
Thanks. I didn't watch X-Factor and only know her from reading re-tweets on Twitter and thought she came across as sharp and sarcastic. Not exactly a claim to fame.

That's interesting. So could she win this for being a victim then? She does do a lot of crying.

I do hope not. If it's a contest between her & the other loathsome so called celebrities, I can't see her winning out but it will be fodder for a woe is me book which might generate a few pounds for her.

Nothing like my brother bearing in mind he has been a huge success in his chosen field and was one of the most popular housemates with the public when he was unfairly evicted by the housemates, led by the bedroom gang. He very well may have won the show. We will never know.

No less so than the other "celebrities" who have only appeared in other reality shows.
Wasn't she the one that was constantly in the sing off at the end but kept getting saved by the judges ?
I do recall that there were stories in the newspapers at the time claiming that she was getting death threats for being Jewish ... and when she finally lost ( because she came bottom in the public vote ) Dermot said that she'd "been through hell"
Then came the Cheryl -blaming stories
So as someone said above, her modus operandi does seem to be latching onto victim status
She was one of the most talked about contestants in her year at a time when X factor was still huge - her season in particular was probably the strongest the show had. She dealt with a lot of unwarranted hate but made it quite far into the competition. Her voice was only suited to particular songs. From her year, I can pretty much only remember her, one direction and cher Lloyd.
