I couldn't care personally, it's a part of the body.

But I didn't think you were allowed to show erect penises on television? I thought you could only do it in porn?

They obviously didn't think it was erect...they obviously thought it was just a huge floppy, when in actual fact he was just pushing it down

Because it would be a human rights violation to make Bear lie down for 3 weeks.

I just had another look and there was a clip of him holding it and glancing to see if the cameras caught it, He then did it again just to make sure they got it. And the second time he wasn't pushing it down, but was kind of leaned forward so it hung down.

What a creepy fella.

It was defo hard IMO as the helmet was exposed. Unless he's been circumcised.

They can show an erection if justified by context.

Lewis tricked them all. Fair play, it'll do his chances with the ladies no harm when he gets out.

I think you should go and have another look, just to be sure

It didn't look fully erect, just aroused.

It's after the watershed anyway more dicks and boobies the merrier.

I believe that the general rule is if the dick is at the angle of Italy, then it's ok to show.

I watched last night's programme and didn't even notice they showed it till I saw this thread. Shows what happens when you get up to make a cuppa at the wrong moment.

Thank you for asking this, I've been wondering it myself to be honest but couldn't quite bring myself to start a thread! I ended up having to research this (ahem, not in that way) as I thought it wasn't allowed. As others have said, seems there's no such rule according to Ofcom:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/pe...e-1771105.html

As for those wondering if it's erect at all, I think there's no doubt. If this were the first time the appendage in question had been emblazoned across our screens in full HD, there might be some question as to whether it's erect or just unusually large. But within about 48 hours of launch we'd already seen the thing in its uncircumcised, flaccid 'glory', so it just makes the difference all the more obvious.

What's weird, tv adult channels get a sweat on about showing an erect penis. Such as the Television X channel e.t.c Yet channel 5 have done it. haha

Just wondering, if you go to any smart phone/tablet/pc/computer/or whatever and enter 'porn', you will immediately see erect penis and open wide pussy... Why would people care more/so much about less than a second showing erect penis on TV... ?

Because to enter 'porn' on a phone/tablet/pc etc you'd be actively searching for it. Having it thrust upon you 'willy nilly' (no pun intended) is an entirely different matter.

Well it was semi not full erect . however I don't think there is actually a proper law enforcing the ban of an erect penis is there ? I just thought it wasn't the done thing to do to show one.

But if the dick also features an Alpine range on the end then its advised to visit a clinic.
