Yeah I think you're right OP, there is a distinct possibility that with Lewis out of the picture Bear and Marnie will hook up with a few drinks on them.

I think he was very smitten with her at the start and when Lewis bagged her this caused a lot of the tension , but I don't think he's that bothered anymore .

I think he was only interested in Marnie to get the 'I won the girl' storyline. He is now pursuing the 'I settled for the blow-up doll' storyline. Either or, he's just interesting in hogging the airtime, not the other people involved.
