Is she being herself?
I thought she would be more fierce.

I think she is lovely and is still grieving for her long term partner. She has piped up when she needs to but prefers to keep out of confrontation. She had enough of that on a previous reality show several years ago due to drinking too much. She doesn't do this any longer.

I can take to her but I want to see more of her. I think the death of her partner has maybe affected her as a person.

Sam is another HM who hasn't had enough airtime, so that the viewers who don't know them can get to know more.

I think it's been a year since her previous partner died, I don't think that's rushing it.

I don't think we'll hear much from Sam while Bear and Lewis are in the house.

They showed Sam on the live feed and she's just treading water, waiting for the show to finish, there's not much to her, she's dull.

No way she's just not going to compete against the kiddies for airtime She's class nowadays and has realised she doesn't have to put on flashy clothes or caked in make up to be herself.

She will just plod along doing nothing until she is evicted.

She seems a nice enough, down to earth girl. I wouldn't vie for attention over the numpties either.

Until one or all of the stooges have been booted everyone else will stay on the side lines.

I think Sam went into this just hoping to show everyone that she is not drinking anymore and I would assume she is looking for work. She just wants to get through it without too much drama. I like her.

None of them seem to be doing much, but that's because we only see about 45 minutes of each day, devoted to Bear, HD and Lewis, who are being shoved down our throats.

Her and Ricky are part of why I almost want Bear to stay in despite feeling he's not a good person...because if housemates like these two are the alternative it will be so boring.

It has been a year and meeting someone else doesn't stop you grieving.

She seems nice, but I hear she can be quite fiery? My father is a huge fan

Not exactly related but, wasn't there an article some time ago that stated those couples who had a bad marriage/relationship upon their partner dying are less likely to want to move into another relationship for a long time, whereas, very close couples who lose a partner are more likely to be open to another relationship within the year? It's pretty standard. Nobody seems to bat an eyelid when a man moves onto his next partner within weeks (numerous kids can attest to that little scenario) but when a woman does it? I suppose she is expected to mope around for the next ten years doing a Queen Victoria/Scottish Widow number .

Perhaps her partner wanted Sam to move on after she passed (some people thrive in relationships, most folks do if they are healthy ones). Like you said, it's been a year since her wife died and it's been just two months since she's been involved with her current partner.

It did not take Paul McCartney that long, after Linda died. And everybody was so happy for him - however look who he picked!!!

I'm not sure how long it was between Linda's death and Paul hooking up with that dangerous Geordie fantasist (they did marry 4 years after Linda's passing), but, if I recall correctly, wasn't his kids, especially, Stella, dead set against it from the begining? Although, I can hardly blame her .

Now Heather Mills would be THE typical prime blueprint candidate for the BB house and as equally hated as Bear and Perez, no doubt, driven by the same ugly instincts, and would give me good reason never to tune in when she's on.

My stepmother married my dad not two years after her beloved husband's death. She still talks about him often but my dad kind of saved her and they have been happy for more than thirty years.

This.

You'd think only Bear Chloe Lewis and Marnie was in the house on live feed. It's ridiculous!

They are the ones in the newspaper coverage most so the two go hand in hand

Sam fox still thinks she is a big star and she is miffed that the younger ones have no interested in her status ie one hit and a page 3 career
