Lewis seems to speak a poor standard of English.

For somebody that is supposed to have worked in the city he speaks quite badly, almost urban slang type. He talks like he things he's 19, from the hood, or in Lock Stock like a gangster. I'm very surprised he ever gained employment anywhere.

He speaks beautifully compared to the likes of Bear or Amy Childs. He does have an Essex accent but you don't get on Towie without one. On Towie he used to snap into being super articulate and use his superior vocab to patronise other, dumber characters. This habit might break up him and Marnie further down the line.

Exactly.

How you speak when around your mates is indicative of precisely nothing.

I'm sure most of us have got 'telephone voices' too
