As for the dancing, she was okay but I feel that she was let down badly by a poorly choreographed (boring) Foxtrot routine by Anton. I can clearly remember Gill's exit interview on ITT in which she explained that she had danced on with a terrible knee injury. I'll never forget she was close to tears by the time the interview ended. You could just tell how gutted she was to have not got anything out of Strictly, hence why I would love to bring her back

Stephanie Beacham

Tina O'Brien
Nicky Byrne
Antony Ogogo”

I remember getting annoyed that they kept dressing and treating Tina like a child (lots of little-girly dresses and "isn't she cute" comments from Tess) even though she was the same age as Kara, who was on the same series. They certainly didn't treat Kara like that! I'd like to see how far Tina could get if she was actually treated like a women (the attitude of the presenters certainly can have a subliminal affect on the viewers) and if she had a decent partner. Jared may be a good dancer but it takes time to settle in as a pro partner on Strictly, and he didn't really have the time.

Pixie Lott definitely, I loved her routines with Trent, especially their Samba and would loved to have seen them in the final

Martina Hingis! I was so annoyed that she was first out that season. She certainly was not the worst to perform, a little nervous maybe, but definitely not a lost cause.

Cherie Lunghi

Anthony Ogogo (should have saved himself for a future series)

DJ Spoony

Martina Hingis (she should not have been voted off first)

Yes, I agree about Gillian. I also agree with most of the rest of your list for various reasons. (Tina was unlucky in having the wrong partner for her, and Antony had an injury to contend with.)

Matt baker it is definitely thought his dancing was brilliant, I don't think he quite gets enough credit his Latin and ballroom were both equally quite splendid! I still remember his tango oh and that foxtrot...oh but that samba.

Agree with those who have said Kelly Brook or Jade Johnson - both were really great dancers and would almost definitely have lasted much longer than they did had they not sadly withdrawn.

Also, though I wasn't a big fan of hers, would anyone else be interested in seeing Lisa Riley back now that she's lost nearly all of her weight? Her being so large was always the main barrier that stopped her from being a good dancer, and I reckon she'd be far better now than she was in 2012. But then that's probably just me...

Bucking the trend, I would actually.

It would be interesting to see how good she could be as she always had some potential.

Good call!

Definitely No thanks to a return for Lisa Riley - she's milked the show for everything she can ever since, and I've just had enough of the funnity fun fun stuff.

On Twitter or Facebook she even describes herself a "dancer on Strictly Come Dancing" rather than "contestant"

as a huge fan of Matthew I was very annoyed they went out first, for no apparent reason, obviously way out of her comfort zone but she didn't have a chance to show what she could do

It would have to be Gabby Logan for me, I really thought she was robbed in her year and should never have been sent home over Penny Lancaster-Stewart. And if I could have two it would be Austin
