I never really thought much of him in Towie, a lot of that show is scripted but I do likle him in the house

He was getting booed when Emma was reading out the numbers to vote....but when they went live to the house they were cheering........guess BB gave them a talking to in the break
He mainly received cheers, hence Marnie hugging him in delight.

Im a bit confused of how many on this forum dislike lewis tbh, but on digital spy men who are young and considered to be conventionally attractive are always hated on digital spy ive noticed.

Same, he can be a bit of a big-headed tosser, but I don't think he's that bad.

Earlier when Emma was speaking to the viewers at home giving the telephone numbers and she said Lewis's name and he came on the big screen he got a massive boo from the crowd. But the house could not hear this.
However during the actual eviction and she said Lewis, he got quite a big cheer. What changed?
It's obvious that the producers use these cheers and boos to manipulate the housemates, but do you think they would go as far as telling the crowd who to cheer and boo?

I don't think they do that. But they certainly control the sound and what sound picked up from various microphones can be fed into the house.
If Emma stands near very vocal Lewis fans then the house will hear cheers for him.
