anyone who knows anything about hip hop would know there was a rapper who was pretty popular in the 90s called heavy d, he was a very light skinned black man who was very overweight who died some years ago, does anyone else remember him? the funny thing is if you google heavy d its him who comes up not this nobody on big brother.

Really embarrassing but I thought he was actually the rapper Heavy D when I first saw him in big brother (didn't see him go in on launch night so missed his VT)!

Allowed? What are you talking about? I doubt that Heavy D (the one on CBB) is a member of Equity.

At first I was like "wow" followed by "isn't he dead?!" and then just disappointment through and through at this horrible knock off.

the original Heavy D's music must have had a profound effect on you, if it took you a moment to remember that he was brown bread

Why should he or I care about some rapper who I have never heard of and was old news 20 years ago.

Actually no, I generally dislike rap. The "wow" and disappointment was more from a standpoint of "Did CBB actually get someone famous? Oh, nope. Nevermind."

Heavy D gave P.Diddy his break who then gave us Mary J Blige and Notorious BIG

I had a similar experience recently at the Co-op checkout. Turns out she was just trying to tell me that it worked out cheaper if I bought a two-pack.
