I really noticed that the show is just focusing on Marnie, Bear and Lewis.

I would say they dominated 95% of the HLs. From one couple to the next, it was unrelenting.

Now that Saira is gone, for the first time I am tempted to stop watching. If only they would show the other HMs more, then I would not mind that idiots like Bear and co are still there.

But it is now literally all about them and the others only get a look-in when it's in relation to these three desperados.

We're already starting to see a tad more of the others and that will only continue. Thinking about it BB often pulls this kinda shit at the start.

I haven't watched for the last few nights and from what I can gather from the forum, I did the right thing. It's been all about Bear, Chloe, Lewis and Marnie (yawn).

It's because the number of Twitter followers is now the yardstick producers use to allocate airtime. It stinks.

I would sooner watch that than those 4 morons but of course what you say just isn't true. On the rare occasions we do see the others they are usually doing much more interesting things than this.

Without the 24/7 LF we can't tell if a few HMs are making all the drama or whether that's just the production team's bias.

The show is deperate for ratings, though, so they're not going to feature housemates who aren't contributing anything resembling a plot.

I have no interest in watching people pawing each other, snogging and dry humping. It's boring - particularly as it is so calculated in ensuring air time.

I was interested last night in the very tiny snippets we saw of the others - I'm absolutely positive that practically anything they do/say is more interesting than watching those phoney/drunken wannabes.

Very well said, I agree. I'd rather watch the others doing nothing, than the fame whores being whores.

And the sex stuff is so tawdry. There's no real romance or affection, nor even any respect in any of it. It's fake and done for effect.

That's why is appears so heartless, boring and porny. It's really unpleasant.

Yes indeed. James, Aubrey and most of the others were having a discussion about climate change and various other things, but then we had to move to the 4 talking about how the house is their house and the others should realise this.

I seriously doubt, as I said on another thread, that Frankie is sitting around doing nothing when he's with the others - he's a live-wire, he's witty, lively and I imagine he's quite good fun to be around, so the others are getting to enjoy that and we aren't.

Mind you, as much as Bear's stifling some of the housemates, I also think that Renee is stifling the people she hangs out with too, as she's a bit of a Debbie-downer herself.

Equal times is all I ask, but all they showed last night in the highlights was about Bear - be it him on the screen or others talking about him. We know from Live Feed that he isn't all they talk about. Show us some of the other stuff. It's supposed to be about social interaction, not just drama - drama in small doses is good, a constant diet of it is as tedious as a constant diet of anything.

I would have loved to hear James Whale talk /discuss with any of the others. He is a really interesting man and can be a bit naughty too throwing controversial comments in to get a reaction. But no chance because apparently it is better viewing watching a pi as poor Harold Lloyd impersonator drop eggs

I find it really sad. I have been a die hard Big Brother fan right from the first series, watched them all without fail, even voted here and there but not I just think the fan expectations have changed. Gone seem to the days where you can be nice and funny like a Brian Dowling and win but people seem to support

There always used to be a chav mentality at the love shows but its creeping onto social media and forums now too and I can't relate to what fans find entertaining anymore. I am not meaning just Bear but in general.

Exactly Rhumba. Sex acts devoid of genuine sexual frisson is tacky and worse still mind numbingly dull.

Yes, it's been a 'The Only Way is Geordie Sex on the Beach' snooze-fest.

The main problem nowadays is the focus on ex on the beach style contestants that create drama through aggression and passive aggression or fake relationships rather than being entertaining. I can remember a few years ago someone spending the whole of the food budget on bananas. This was annoying to the housemates but was also entertaining to watch. Bear making a coffee cocktail or pretending to drop eggs was just mean spirited.

Other housemates are probably scared to chat about anything for fear of being evicted. It seems that any and all kinds of behaviour are acceptable but a controversial point of view on a subject is grounds for being kicked out. if I was James Whale I would watch what I say and just take part in boring conversations rather than a serious discussion of an issue.

I seems to be the way he is handling it - and this will probably result in him getting evicted this week. It seems to be that showing a spark of intelligence has become a real CBB no-no.

.
One night on LF last week James, Ricky and Grant were having a conversation about animal conversation but the cameras soon switched to the Four Faking Fauxmancers
