So they were all going to walk...
who, me?

Would have been nice to see how that panned out.

Their protest lasted about 3 minutes and then BB reminded them they were just supporting cast members. All of them are still appearing in The Bear Show.

They should have, I couldn't stand it in there with Bear and the other idiots.

Id have had a lot of respect for them all if they had forfeited their fees and walked out that door. They are in their being abused continually and the producers are rubbing their hands with glee. Their show would have fallen apart with two weeks to go and only the four morons left. I'd love to see how that would pan out.

Nobody will walk and miss out on getting their cheques after suffering for 2 weeks so it was a futile exercise.

They were laughing when they said strike so I think they were not really serious just having a moan , but there resolve is strong because most of us would have walked and torch the house on the way out

They were never going to walk. You don't threaten to walk. You just walk.

Maybe the producers offered them 5 minutes of airtime...between them of course.

Of course you do. Unions do it all the time. Meet our demands or we will withdraw labour. Couples do it - change your ways or we are finished, schools do it, start behaving in an acceptable manner or you are out. Employers do it through performance procedures. You give the other part a chance to rectify whatever is wrong.

None of which has any relevance to CBB. The people who walk are past the point of frustration. They don't sit down and chat about it first. They just walk. It's a wholly idle threat.

If you include live feed then their protest suceeded - there was at least 5 minutes of Sam moaning and Renee crying last night

I think Ricky is very close to seriously walking. He looks totally defeated by the situation and just wants out.

I would have laughed heartily if they had all walked out. All those people saying "there wouldn't be a show without Bear" would soon see how wrong they were when the HL show just became an hour of 4 arseholes getting pissed, shouting and shagging every day. Oh hang on a sec....

That's not strictly true though is it? Couples I am sure will have given each other many chances and had many discussions before they actually split up and if you think that's how it works in a school then you are sadly mistaken. It is actually quite a long drawn out process to expel a pupil these days.

But I am agreeing with you. My point was that you don't *just* walk - you give the other party many opportunities to change whatever it is that has caused the rift, to put it right. I was replying to the post which said you don't threaten to leave, you just do it.

I was speaking specifically about CBB.

The things you listed have absolutely no relevance. We're not talking about a couple fighting or a union threatening a strike. We're talking about CBB. The threats of walking are always idle. The people who walk don't talk about it they just do it.

Not sure why you think any of those things you mentioned are remotely analogous.
