Marnie seems to like Bear more than Lewis, so why didn't she hook up with him?

Marnie is always supporting Bear's stupid behaviour and sticking up for him. She was fawning all over him last night. So why didn't she have a showmance with him instead of Lewis?

Lewis and Marnie are under the same management, its an easy showmance to sort.

That makes more sense, she prefers Bear's company () but has been to told to link up with Lewis.

It just becomes more and more vile.... here we have management who are supposedly professional and their job involves two young adults - who are not the sharpest - who they instruct (manipulate) into intimate contact and sex acts.... for money.

How does that conversation go I wonder, do they tell them it's just like being an "actor", that everyone in media does it... or is it just a brutal do-it-or-you're-not-on-the-books-any-more....

If you worked in a standard office and your boss ordered you to hook up with another member of staff and provide physical entertainment.... we'd all have some choice words to describe that arrangement...

I saw it more like those times when you're waiting for a particular bus to take you home and you're not in a hurry. Different bus comes first, which will take you the long way or stops short and you'll have to walk the rest of the way. Either way, you're getting home, it just depends whether you want to wait for the right bus or take the one that comes first. It's not a big deal and you'll have forgotten about it within the hour.

Forget Marnie, this was more to do with Lewis and Bear. They were always going to ride someone; it was when, not who.

Erm... or something like that...

Nice "ride" analogy there....

The issue is though, if when the bus arrived you had to let someone stick their tongue into your mouth in order to be allowed onto the bus... would you? Are you really able to dismiss such a physically intimate act as "nothing".

That's what frightens me about the likes of Chloe and Marnie... they have no personal boundaries. I don't even think it's about liking the other person, or satisfying their libido... it doesn't seem to enter their heads that they can say no. It's as though they have no ownership of their bodies.... they are just there to be used.

Me? No. Those 2? Clearly yes. Chloe has admitted it on several occasions. She doesn't even like him, she'd never go for someone like him on the outside, he's not her type, she won't let it go any further... (all this before we heard her in the toilet and again in the shower with Bear).

As for Marnie, if I take her at her word and she really believes Lewis is a gentleman, makes her feel special and she hasn't met anyone like him before... well... says it all really.

I'd put a large sum of money on the fact that Marnie has never had sex with anyone when they were both stone cold sober. Big money.

There's pictures of Lewis and Marnie out together before the series started. They could well have been somewhat of an item before CBB, and are now trying to milk it for what it's worth. Let's face it, once these shows dry up, they've rendered themselves virtually unemployable.

Wasn't Marnie supposed to be bisexual? Seen no evidence of this so far, last night she did ask Chloe to pole dance and seemed more into it than Lewis ha
Just seems odd that she made such a fuss about being into girls just as much if not more, then jumps straight on Lewis.
Reckon the producers thought she might try it on with a Girl then it never happened..

Simply not the way it was scripted.

It was clear from the fake fight, the night before Lewis was up for eviction, that Marnie and Lewis knew their script before they came in. I think Marnie is attracted to Bear, but she said herself he is wild and unpredictable, so not a safe bet if she wants some control in the storyline. Personality wise I think Bear and Marnie both have a wild, hedonistic side, so they enjoy each other. However, Lewis is easier to manage in this scripted drama. I noticed during the tree crashing episode, Marnie was eager to straddle Bear, knickerless, whilst Chloe and Lewis sat looking awkward.
