Vegan

Banana & some almonds for breakfast, or a smoothie.

Lunch, usually a salad and some type of lentil-y thing. Or hummus. Mainly just veggies and healthy protein while I still have the willpower.

End of the day it's usually something like a stir-fry or noodles with tofu / seitan.

Snacks: usually fruit, veggies, nuts.

Oh and coffee. Lots of coffee.

I'm one of the cat funts you refuse to feel sorry for. I didn't want you to so that's fine and I've been doing something about it for a while. Pleased to report that the scales have consistently been moving in the right direction.

Fallen into something like this:

No breakfast

First meal of the day about 6-8 hours after waking. Depending on the week that could be classed as lunch time or dinner. It's usually a big meal of 800-1000 calories. Home cooked stuff, either made there and then or frozen and reheated. I like to make things like chilli, curry, tuna pasta, chicken pasta, fish pie, cottage pie etc. Try to put lots of veggies in there.

After that it's 1 or 2 smaller things to eat, depending on how hungry I am later in the day. They're usually about 300-400 calories each. Most often it's a sandwich or a large bowl of cereal but it could be anything really. Had a pizza for one on Tuesday night for example.

Keeping to under 2000 calories a day, the rest comes from fruit and/or a bit of chocolate.

Finding I usually skip the second of the 2 smaller meals from above recently as I'm not that hungry so it's actually often around 1500-1600 for the day. Feels like a cheat day if I do reach 2000 at the moment but I have been having proper cheat days too every 4-6 weeks or so. Having one on Sunday, watching Bournemouth v Manchester United on telly with a few beers and probably a takeaway later on.

Still obese, but 1lb away from having lost 5st so far.

Relatively healthy.
Special K, fruit, cook a fair bit,dont really like ready meals but I love a chinese or a ruby.

Im being good at the moment though.

I eat a fairly low carb diet.

Don't usually have breakfast but if I do it's bacon and eggs.

During the day I might have some fruit and or nuts.

Evening meal usually consists of grilled or roast meat and lots of veg. Usually a couple of these - cauliflower, broccoli, runner beans, cabbage, leeks, asparagus, mange tout and onions.

I don't have pasta or bread any more, and I only rarely have potatoes or rice. I very rarely have take-aways.
I never buy crisps, cakes, biscuits or sweets and only have the odd bottle of diet fizzy drink. I use sweeteners for my coffee so have no added sugar in my food or drink.

I've lost a few pounds but still have a long way to go.

Do you have an end goal?
I've gone from 14.4 to 13.2 since January - no crash diet just changes in volume and content such as salmon, asparagus and baby potatoes, or steak, salad and a shared baked potato or "courgetti" bolognaise.
I'm 5'8"" - WHO BMI tells me I should be 11.10 which is ludicrous.
Im aiming for around 12.10 playing golf around three times a week

I quite literally eat whatever I want.

When at work I never have breakfast but I snack on biscuits throughout the morning (very often chocolate but not always). At weekend or when I'm off work I usually have breakfast and it's usually either croissants and jam or a bacon sandwich.

For lunch at work I nearly always have sandwiches (the fillings vary, this week it's been roast beef and horseradish), usually with a piece of quiche/sausage roll/pork pie and a bag of crisps. Usually a yoghurt or chocolate bar for dessert.

For dinner I always have something that I've cooked from scratch. I love cooking, this week I've made pepperoni and tomato pasta for two days, steak with homemade potato wedges and homemade onion rings, sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice and tonight we've got some spicy sausages and I'm making some potatas bravas to go with them.

During the day I always drink water and have a glass of Coke Zero with my dinner. Friday and Saturday night I usually have a nice selection of beers and we'll have some nice crisps or pate and bread or nachos and dips to snack on during the evening.

I'm 35 and very slim (30" waist), I weigh 10 stone which is the same as I weighed when I was 18.

Monday-Thursday I usually get up early to swim before work. After that I have a couple of boiled eggs, banana and chocolate milk. On days I don't swim I usually have either protein porridge or scrambled eggs with baked beans. If it's a weekend and my husband is off work we will have a full English.

Lunches will vary. I sometimes have leftovers from the night before. I have this with fruit and yogurt.

Dinner will also vary. We enjoy fish often, normally have that a couple of times each week. I try to do one day each week without meat/fish. We both like cooking so we rarely have a takeaway or convienience foods.

My sweet tooth is my downfall however the rest of my diet is quite good, I think.

Breakfast - Weetabix, banana, skimmed milk, but weekend is poached egg on toast.
Lunch - Wholemeal roll, a bit of mature cheese, tomato and lamb's lettuce, followed by a raw carrot and home-made pea hummous.
Dinner - 3 typical meals are salmon with sweet potato mash & broccoli / marinated tuna steak, stir veg & brown rice / chick pea & bulgar wheat chilli. Sometimes a bit later in the evening I will defrost some raspberries and have with a dollop of greek yoghurt.

I never go to a McDonalds or similar.

So that's my typical diet.

Coffee in the morning. Black, no sugar.
Anything for lunch (usually one sandwich or some japanese food - closest to my work- )
Anything for dinner.
I'm just trying to avoid sugar (but I do eat something sweet every day).
I've just learned to eat less, not until i'm full!

I never have breakfast, I have never been hungry in the mornings.
It's a large cup of water (either with apple cider vinegar, or lemon, and/or lime), black coffee, and 3-4 cigarettes for me.

Mid-day (11am-2pm) I have a ca 1 litre smoothie with all types of fruits and some veg, and seeds (always banana, kiwi, apple, cucumber, carrot, flax seeds. Almost always berries.)

Dinner is usually my home-made tomato soup/ sauce with added fish or chicken/ turkey or beef, one egg, + lots of green stuff, fresh veg, seeds, olive oil.

At night I usually have coconut, banana and cheese, and a cup of tea (chamomile, green or mint) with a half bag of gelatine. If you have ever had problems sleeping - try that.
