Because there are some morons who think they are interesting, or who are hoping they will point the way to fame.

Another one, labelling people as "morons" for having a different opinion.

Wow, were I come from Bear would have been in A&E a long time ago.

Well Saira who lived with them has said they do nothing, they dont offer opinions anything and they want to coast through. Thats why Im more on team "Knob squad" than the "boring squad". Ricky practically summed all of them up when he called out "security" when a little plastic tree was knocked over. All they actually do (when we do see them) is bitch about the other 4. On pretty much all the LF's Ive seen, the rest sit in the bedroom bitching about the other 4 whilst Marnie, Lewis, Bear and Chloe simply just have a laugh and dont even mention the others.”

I don't know if it's down to intelligence either, Lewis has got something going on behind the eyes but he's not a nice person.
I'm not particularly liking any of the others either tbf, I don't like Ricky's white knight thing he's doing with all the camp 'babes' and 'honey's he adds at the end of most sentences. Aubrey's a nasty piece of work, Sam takes herself too seriously, James is an opinionated shock jock who's still a grumpy old man (self-proclaimed). I could do a list for all of them if I had the time or inclination.
The point is none of the others are willfully antagonising, rude, arrogant, aggressive or any other of the adjectives I've used before.
I'm bored of the whole situation, everything and with the KS monopolising the screentime we're seeing nothing else and IT'S BORING.

Now if you'd come back to me and said, yeah the 'boring' housemates are so full of themselves, they need taking down a peg or two I could at least understand where you're coming from but this travesty of a show isn't entertaining for me and this kind of ugliness for the sake of airtime is pretty despicable IMHO. If they're behaving as they are because it's who they are then that's even worse.

It's up to the producers to give them something to do to show their personalities and let the feelings evolve and clashes happen naturally, not send a load of alcohol and watch the shitstorm unfold.

Not at all, a different opinion is fine. I am labelling the numpties in the house morons, and I guess it is a bit unkind to label their supporters morons - to morons!

Lighten up old bean its all a bit of fun.

They have fans because people can relate to them, and the way they act, and maybe see a bit of themselves in them. This country is covered with Bear, Lewis, Marine, and Chloe types, I have them living in the same block as me, the thing is on the outside you can just go and sort them out yourself, or call the police and have them all arrested. But in the house they are protected, they would not behave in the same way on the outside for long.

The 'Squad' remind me of the people on 'Brits abroad in Magaluf' type programmes.

No, I just enjoy it when housemates put on a show and play the game. Bear hasnt been nasty to anyone, therefore he hasnt inflicted any actual pain. He winds people up but I know alot of people like that in real life and they are are harmless.

I love to hate Bear, so while secretly thinking he's awful I think he's the best HM of the series. But the other three are totally useless and Chloe makes me feel ill - I can't even look at her, and her spit-filled gob is too much. Marnie & Lewis are just pointless.

Indeed.

Plus, there are people here who always make a point of claiming to run contra to the general mood of the board.

It's fine, by the way, that other people do like this shit. I just personally think it's pointless. Why turn BB in to TOWIE when TOWIE already exists?

Somebody said in another thread that the reason Lewis and Marnie are together when she obviously likes Bear more is because they have the same management. So it was easy to arrange. That says it all to me. It's just contrived bullshit.”

I totally agree with this post. I have no interest in scripted reality shows. I don't get the point, I don't care these types of people and I hate the whole 'famous for nothing' culture that has grown up around them.

BB was always different. It was about different types of people thrown together and dealing with what evolved. Nowadays, its as contrived as a scripted show. Its all about conflict for conflicts sake and fake drama. I've never been a fan of the fauxmances anyway but this new breed would shag a goat on the dinner table during Sunday lunch if they thought it would get them 5 minutes of airtime and a photospread in Heat

Why people are expecting the likes of Ricky and Sam Fox to offer up intellectual debate is beyond me. I've watched them on the Live Feed and they're just counting down the days - last night James Whale tried to cheer Ricky up by telling him that there was only a fortnight left and Fatboy sighed heavily and replied: 'Yes, but a fortnight in here...' Clearly he is loathing every minute.

Meanwhile, Bear is full of energy, relishes the tasks and actually seems to love being in the show. He was genuinely annoyed at being eternally nominated, whereas James or Ricky would have been grateful.

I like drama and conflict and romance and so do a lot of the viewers tuning in. People expecting English eccentrics sitting round chewing the fat might get that next time around, but I don't think it's going to happen this season.

Yes, BECAUSE of the puerile, attention seeking bedroom group's selfish antics and self-admitted targeting.

Nobody would enjoy being in a house with them 4.

Has anyone said they are expecting HMs to be sitting round discussing Proust or having a debate about Nietzsche and his philosophy of existentialism? Not at all but it would be nice to hear a few conversations with a little more depth than 'f**kin wikkid innit geeza' or having a night or two without seeing anyones genitals.

I have no issue with some drama and conflict but want it to evolve naturally, not have BB virtually force the HMs into a playground WW3
