I mis-read that as Vermouth donuts and asked myself, Why would someone do that?

Have you been watching, Grimm, OP?

Don't know, but I've seen them on Man V Food before.

I've not had the donuts themselves but there's a brewery in Newport Oregon called Rogue who have teamed up with Voodoo to produce a series of beers mirroring the donut flavours. They're not easy to get hold of over here in the UK but I had the Lemon Chiffon beer and it was a nice lemony pale ale with a bit of vanilla in there too. I'd quite like to try the others (which include a maple bacon brown ale!) but as I said, they're not easy to get hold of. I'd not actually heard of the donut company until I heard about the beer.

Would love to try those. I've had the Rogue Dead Guy before which was really good and also had a great name.

I've not had that, I've had the 4 Hop IPA and I've got a bottle of the 7 Hop IPA at home which I've not tried yet. I think they do about 6 different donut ones, I can't remember all of them though, there's the two I mentioned plus a mango one and a chocolatey nutty one. As I say, they're quite hard to get, the donut ones are in 750ml bottles (that are illuminous pink!) so they're quite expensive too.
