As much as I love Ricky...

I really want to like Ricky, I think he's a nice guy with a heart of gold, yet every episode all we hear from him is "Bear this..." and "Bear that..."

He is coming across obsessed with Bear, talking to any housemate who will listen to him. If he can let go of the Bear drama I think he could do really well and go far in the show, but if he continues to rhyme on about Bear, he is gonna be dragged down and end up being evicted in my opinion.

Does anyone agree?

Yes but they only show him when hes talking about Bear probably not when hes making casual conversation so we cant be sure.

Very true Brandon. I'd love BB to show us some general conversations from other housemates about other topics other than the clique.

Really looked forward to seeing the non actor side of him. All that's left is to wait until the editing loses the big characters and we get to see more of those flying under the radar.

If I were Bear I would be worried, Ricky is infatuated with Bear.

Didn't Ricky do a prayer for Biggins? What a dreary ****.

He usually takes a little break from obsessing about Bear though ... when he's focused on licking Renee's @arse, calling her "Mama" and telling her how amazing she is

The others only get airtime when they talk about Bear. Who knows what they talk about the rest of the time. Even on live feed they cut away from anything that doesn't involve their star turn. Anyone who doesn't shag/talk about/argue with Bear is invisible.

On live feed he talks about lots of interesting issues with James mostly but they don't have time to show the downtime bits on the HL's.

"Interesting issues with James". Jesus ****ing Christ. Is that the choice? Muck around with Bear or have "interesting" conversations with dreary Ricky and ****ing James Whale of all people.

Every time we hear him on the highlights show, he's moaning.

He's an embarrassment, is he not like 32? he acts like hes 18 and so fake nice "heart, soul, mama" are the only words he ever uses, I cringe every time I hear him speak.

So soft and weak and should not be there.

I liked Ricky and was looking forward to him being in the house ,but i'm really disappointed in him so far ,he's just been shown Moaning on and on about Bear ,and all his Mama talk to Renee ,and his ''Heart and Soul'' spiel he puts in every convo is just Tiresome ......

I too liked Ricky at first, I liked him on Bots as well, thought he came across as rational, polite and respectful but unfortunately as the show has unfolded I feel he is letting himself down a tad.
It seems to me for a lot of TV people (not all, of course) it is easy to be nicey nice in their world because in TV you have a duty to be nice, polite etc and others have that duty back to you but throw them in to a more down to earth situation (including reality loons and Americans) and they become unstuck because in the 'normal' world people are not so luvvey nice to each other and this must come as quite a shock to some.
Janet Street Porter on Loose Women (a show I can not abide) annoyed me when I used to watch it with her 'The workplace is no longer a man's world, it is now a woman's world' maybe in TV/Media land luv but not in the real world, believe me, it is still mainly very much a man's world! (in my own opinion)
Saira for example, will probably rarely be rudely challenged in her usual TV/Media life but her 'strong opinions' didn't fare too well on this show.
So maybe poor Ricky is realising that the land of the reality star is a lot grittier than his own pink and fluffy soap domain.
Shame, I had respect for the man, I hope he doesn't become too disillusioned.
