Hello all.......
I need some advice please

Basically our house is being renovated and our living room TV suddenly broke....so we want to invest in a new living room TV.

Size between 49 and 55 inches.

The TV will have a Sky Box hooked up to it as well as the PS4.

What I want to know is... is it worth getting a 4K TV? I have read that 4K TV's are not worth the price and it will be better to invest in a top quality LED 1080 TV, whilst others have said 4K TV's are worth getting especially for the future....

My budget is around £500 and preferably from ARGOS as I can get discount.

Make sure you buy a 4k TV with the UHD Premium label on it otherwise it is not true 4k
also some TVs may have the HDR label on it instead this is also a good TV

Sky now has a new box called Sky Q which is 4k compatible I suggest you get the new box so your TV can give you real 4k pictures - you need the Sky Q Silver box though to have the 4k channels

Sky Q is really expensive right? Thats what i have heard.

What TV would you recommend from ARGOS with a £600 budget....?

Why not get your existing TV repaired? Almost certainly cheaper than your budget.

Not at all Winston, the majority of faults are panel failures, and assuming a panel was even available it would cost more than a new TV.
