Hopefully not.

I make an effort to keep an eye on that kind of stuff myself and articulate myself as best I can because I know some people think "If they don't even know basic English why should I listen to what they've got to say?"

It's just a heads up, if you appear stupid (whether you are or not) then it diminishes the point you're making. That's all.

I make mistakes sometimes too so no offense intended.

Oh okay, I had to read the original post to make sense of it.

Offence means to insult...offense meaning a crime ...

Noted

There's no distinction between the two other than the US use 's' and we use 'c'

It's an americanism I need to get rid of, I used to spell everything with a z too. The worst one was when I said someone was the epitomy of something. Soon got pulled up on that

Lived in America myself Virginia and Maine ...know exactly what you mean.

I prefer there way of spelling ...not so many of the added silent letters.

Nothing in my post suggested that I wasn't really giving my opinion, so why ask 'Are you for real'? What does that bring to the discussion? As someone else has pointed out, your post doesn't make any sense. If you read properly, you would see the point I was making was it is all about intent. The eating of cake wasn't an issue for me, but Bear and Lewis had the intention of sabotaging Heavy's effort, which could have resulted in HM's disapproval. If Aubrey, who is kind to Heavy, had sneaked him the cake, there would have been no malice involved. Yes, both would have resulted in cake being eaten, but the intentions would be very different.

I was not the OP.

Which bear and lewis also knew, that would be his weakness, plus heavy,s desire to try to fit in.

Weight and eating (i.e. anorexia) are a control and comfort issue, and it is not as black and white as someone choosing to be that size, its a complicated psychological thing, like alcoholism and drug abuse. I cannot speak for anyone else but it made me as cringey and uncomfortable as if someone was an ex alcoholic and someone was pushing alcohol at them when they had already said no several times. AND yes I know Heavy is not on a diet and it was just a task and he ate for England at the party, it was in my eyes taking advantage of weakness and I don't like that in a person, and if that makes me boring I am happy with that.

The humour was lost on me.
I thought the taunting was cruel, and his lack of willpower depressing.

Oh please!

Heavy is in no way showing any symptoms of having severe psychological issues around food, not all overweight people are weak and controlled by food! Heavy has no body issues, pretty evident by the fact he is perfectly happy to walk around topless, pose in mirrors next to the more fitter guys, and when Saira basically implied he was too fat to exercise he laughed it off, which appeared to me to be a genuine 'don't give a f***' laughing it off!

Yes bear was taking the piss, yes they were laughing because they wanted Heavy to fail but Heavy ate the cake because he wanted to eat the cake, not because he was fat and fat people are incapable of refusing sweet treats put in front of them. Heavy was munching away at the party later that night through his own free will, just like he ate the cake through his own free will.

It was a bit of fun that's why they were all laughing ( including Heavy )

Lewis slicing just a 'sliver' of cake, like that made a difference, and Bear's "here comes the train"

It's very very sad, so why was Lewis and Bear exploiting that? Is that funny??

Bear and Lewis were laughing when Marnie tried to push her breasts into Saira's face. They were both laughing when they were goading James in the kitchen. They were both laughing when they upset the sleeping HMs in the bedroom. That's what they do - laugh when causing upset to other people. Just because they are laughing it does not mean fun is being had by all. Heavy laughs as a defence mechanism, we have seen that countless times. Despite laughing, he looked uncomfortable and nervous to me.

I thought it was amusing. Certainly more amusing than Heavy D getting Chloe to wash his shittyboxers during the android v human task. There are no victims in that house.

His weakness was caused by greed, not incapacity to say no, but yeah you're right.... greed isn't funny!

Again I agree, greed isn't funny but neither is Lewis and Bear exploiting it for 'a laugh'. It's classic bully behaviour, identifying a victims weakness and then using it for supposed entertainment.
