Same here. One was an ex. It wasn't about 'pranking', it was much more psychological. Nasty.

What you talking about? Bear is a lovely bloke, he mad the whole house a coffee cocktail the other day. So considerate.

I reckon all Bear's fans would be the least tolerant of him, they'd all want to tear his face off after two minutes, but perversely think the housemates are bores and should just join in the 'fun'

Never open the door into your personal life, if you dont want people to comment or question you on it, just a bit of advice

And it's so easy to do.

I don't understand why people think he's some sort of wit, he's a knob.

They probably assume he wouldn't go after them and that they'd be part of the gang. But going by how sensitive many of the Bear fans are on this forum I'd say not only would they be targets, they'd be his BIGGEST targets.

But it's just banter, eh?

We can all see people for what they are, especially when they are on our TV screens acting in the same repetitive manner night after night.

They sure can be fun for a while though...

Of course it's after that things get darker

For sure. I remember feeling very uneasy when I first started witnessing my ex with other people, others would laugh but I would wonder. Strange people.

Don't be silly. The streets are full of them when the clubs and bars close.

Do you really think Bear would act like that on the outside? He's all big and brave, knowing security would steam in there if it kicked off.If he behaved like that out here he'd be picked off in a heartbeat. The real Bear was the one who shit his pants when the security guard came in the door when he was giving it large. We've all met a Bear in real life but we all know they don't last long, they get picked off

My sisters married someone very similar to Bear, we all hate him, he winds up everyone, and goes too far. She spends her life apologising for him, but she's still with him..........he's a grade A first class 🔔🔚

He reminds me a lot of an ex-boss.
He was the kind of guy who is the life and soul of any party, but overbearing in anything more than small doses. Add in some booze too and he would quickly turn from being humorously edgy to downright nasty and stupid.

Life lessons I've had to learn. Limit your exposure to him. When he begins to talk over you, lower your voice so that he has to shut up in order to hear you. Use intelligence to outwit him (shouldn't be hard to do).

Case in point although not really about Bear. When Marnie shoved her knockers in Saira's face, braying that Saira was jealous, had I been one of the sane group, I would immediately have said "oh I much prefer Saira's breasts" - thus taking the sting out of the stupid stunt.

One. He's a great character, speaks his mind, not intimidated by anyone or scared of anything. Very good at winding unpleasant people up. Always good to his friends.

What about large security guards?

Thankfully no, I haven't met anyone that obnoxious.

Bear's talent seems to be that he is able to keep in mind that it is a game inside an artificial TV studio. I find this especially refreshing when he articulates that it is fine to be disobedient. Unfortunately I meet far too few people who recognise the value of disobedience.

Bear's other prime talent seems to be his incredible quick thinking and playful spontaneity. I meet too few people with such skills.
