As far as we know there might be some hilarious deluded characters or personality clashes with the egos in there but unfortunately all we're getting to see is the same boring horribly domineering thuggish behaviour.

I think for example Sam fox might be a little goldmine if she felt comfortable enough to show some of her personality. Did anyone see her on that show a few years back where she managed a bar in a club. TV Gold!

Can we please get the thug moron squad out while there's still a chance to turn the remainder of CBB into something fairly entertaining.”

They are a very menacing thuggish squad, its' like a gang of bullies tormenting everyone.

Now maybe that's a deliberate ploy to get rid of those fans and draw in the generally younger mtv reality brigade. Might blow up in their face. If BB are doing that it's working on me. I've watched since the first series, but after this one I'll be reconsidering watching any more. If they put in people from reality shows again, I don't see any point in watching, there won't be enough of The BB format left for me.
There is no respect for the rules of the games, no inclination to take part in BB at all, just their never ending need to be the most controversial person on screen every second of the day.

I agree 100%. But it is unlikely that they will be voted out by the looks of things.

In the end it'll be a house full of attention grabbing thugs, chavs and sluts with a weekly punch up to decide who stays. Alcohol on tap and bonus points for who can shout the loudest.
But at least people will be watching, that's the most important thing, right?

Crap! Sorry I could say it better but why bother with people who actually think Bear is the show.

I've seen people say this exact thing on social media and it winds me up so much.

This series is like having the ingredients to a great meal. After you've prepared and served it up you then, for some bizarre reason, cover the entire thing in a mountain of salt. You then believe the meal would be bland without the damn salt.

There would be all the drama and conflict without Bear. We're 16 years in and after who-knows-how-many series, we know there would be plenty to discuss.

I also think the main problem that many long-term fans feel is that BB has always been aimed at a certain demographic - the 16-30 age group. Is it possible that the long-term fans are just no longer in that demographic anymore? We can't expect the show to grow older with us.

Brilliant post OP!

I agree totally, it's driving me mad too. Bear has just been doing the same old things day in and day out and I'm bored silly. I seriously don't know why BB bothered putting anyone in there other than the Squad, because that's all they seem to want us to watch.

I'm certain there would be other scuffles going on but the obnoxious squad are uniting the others against a common enemy. We're not getting a true sense of who the others are and it's frustrating. I'm praying one of them is evicted tonight - hopefully that will change the dynamics.

My dad used to put horseradish on everything, he said there was no taste otherwise.

I would blame the tastebuds and not the food. Extend that analogy as you will

The irony is it'd be a show I would WANT to watch without the reality TV stars in it!

They're just AWFUL. We're not getting to see the characters of the people we've known for decades, instead they're just annoyed and upset.

It's rubbish.

If Bear wasn't there BB would make sure arguments were caused some other way, like they did in the civilian series. You're deluded if you think it would be all fun and games without Bear.

I've put this in another thread but if James were to remain tonight and even get a top 2 place it would give the other housemates a massive boost as they probably think the goon squad are loved by all on the outside which is not the case.

A decent showing for James could turn this.

Good . dfferect types of arguments with different people.

I'm not saying we don't want arguments - just not the same boring boorish yobbish behaviour we are get fed time and time again.

I would rather watch an empty room than watch that 'hilarious' psycopath Bear.

It will be like watching a silent movie if Bear is evicted.

Take the "eggs" incident. Why did it make the HLs? Not because of what Bear did directly, it was the non-reaction of the others. How many times have the other HMs appeared solely because of him. Even if he is evicted, the footage for some time will still be about him. The antics of Jedward, Marco, and Ryan were solely about themselves and that made it very different.
