People were saying that about last year's series, the year before, year before that and so on, and they all turned out to be great series.

Personally excited Will's in the lineup but also liking that Ore looks like a contender on the male side.

Ed and Melvin both have good senses of humour . . . and maybe some moves too?

I'm expecting Laura to be one of the female contenders.

I want beautiful dancing, lots of competition and a good mix of personalities so I'm happy so far. Sometimes it's the celebs I don't know at the start who become a favourite of mine. The pro lineup's awesome, lets see who the other celebs are but this could be the best series for a few years in my opinion.

Every year, there is someone who posts a thread like this, with only a few celebrities confirmed, it's beyond premature, and beyond belief. We do not know the full line up, all of the celebrities so far gave had strong rumours.

Let's just hold off, until we know the full line up.

Apart from Will Young who is a very big name for Strictly to have and doesn't fit into any of those categories.

Thing is, you'll soon get to know them and like them (hopefully), and as long as the dancing isn't too much faffing around, it'll be OK.

Some people on here are so defensive of their previous Strictly. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion unless you're criticising the show in any way it seems.

No, I think people object to people who are so impatient they dismiss the whole series and the entire line up as the worst ever despite only knowing 5 of the fifteen names and not having seen any of them dance.

Personally disagree, Will Young and Ed Balls are great signings, Ore is the classic BBC signing and this will help is career no end I reckon. Melvin and Laura not my favourite but fair signings. Lower your expectations folks, this is a reality show that takes, 4 months, 12+ hours training a week and is the lowest paid out of any of them - with all that in mind it's a promising line up - don't know who some people are expecting but let me break it to you, Daniel Craig is not going to be on the line up

I cannot think why you mention Odoon as the name - I had never heard of him. It obviously depends on which television programmes you watch, or what radio station.

You dismiss Will Young who has been in the business for nearly 15 years and has enjoyed a varied career in music, film and musical theatre!
