I was just thinking about this, I've been a BB fan since day one (sad I know), I've only missed about 3 series cause they just never grabbed my attention but I can't remember when the whole stupid Vote To Save started, I know there are some real experts out t:here who will know the answer please ?

'Vote to Save' isn't stupid... its the better one of the two for me.
Weeds out the deadwood of series' earlier than a Vote to Evict does.

Just a shame they wont revert to it for "Civilian"

its not ''stupid'' it actually makes more logical sense, hence the reason positive voting is used on pretty much every other reality/talent show!
however i do understand why some people prefer negative voting as a way of getting rid of sometimes unlikeable characters easier.

Channel 4 did vote to save for one Celebrity series (as far as i know it was only one)
and channel 5 have used vote to save for every single celebrity series since the channel took over. what leaves me miffed is why some people are confused by this, surely they know by now its VTS!

i personally blame the production for reintroducing VTE for the civlian series a couple of years ago, its clearly left people confused!

what's wrong with it, is they have too many people up for nomination, it should be Bear plus one other, give the public a straight choice, only have more than two up if there is a tie in nominations

Celebrity one I think has always been vote to save which is kind of a waste of time because all you need do is list every housemate in order of Social Media followers & you can predict the order they get the boot. It's not rocket science....it's just a popularity contest!

Not necessarily so because he isn't big on Social Media but has always had a big following. He was a true celebrity as well but since the takeover of reality tv scum then it stands to reason.

I was more referring to it as the series (I think) where the finalists came 6th to 1st in order of the highest amount of social media followers so 6th place had the highest with Jim having the fewest

Yeah but what I mean is Jim was hard to measure because he isn't a big user of Social Media so him having the lowest was obvious without actually having the lowest number of fans if that makes sense.
