I find all of this shocking, I was told to respect my elders, even if I didn't agree with them as they have had more life experiences.

Surely they Parents of Chloe, Marnie, Lewis and Bear must be disgusted, and angry at there actions.

Hope when we get the letters from home, there parents, tell them exactly how disgusting they have been

Why on earth should someone automatically respect someone else just because they are older than them??

Just to clarify things I'm not saying that in support of The Squad. It's just a general opinion

Not just their elders, they need to be taught to respect full stop.

According to the OP anyone younger than Renee should just keep quiet and take anything she says.

Well said! That's exactly what I said earlier. When did youngsters stop automatically showing respect for their elders? I'm 50 and I would still show deference to someone 20 years older than me, that's how I was brought up, but these days teenagers and people in their twenties don't seem to show this respect - they just don't care. When did this change occur?

It's not a case of respecting elders just respect for people in general. This bunch don't know what the word means!!! Bears family should be horrified at his behaviour but seening his brother on bit on the side they are likely to so proud of their offspring, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

NOBODY deserves "respect" just because they are old. Not ever.

"Respect for your elders" in this country has been rightly extinct for my entire 56 years.

Everybody should just show a little respect for everybody else, regardless of age. It's not difficult.

Well I'm 50 and it hasn't been extinct for my entire life and I still stick to it now. Why "rightly extinct" anyway?

If you respect others they should respect you. But does not always work that way. Sadly.

Its right, young people should respect respectable elders....it's just that some people think all elders are respectable....

And having seen how some of those/you so called elders was acting around young people in the 80's.....

It's 'their' elders not 'there' elders. Have you no respect for them?

Because someone older has life experience and you get a bit calmer and wiser as you get older and also if you are decently brought up it is common decency and manners to respect your elders. So if someone showed no respect and was rude to your parents that would be OK with you?

lol their parents are the very reason they're like what they're like. The apples don't fall far from the trees.
