there is no reason to be in awe of him, you couldn't do what he does because you have empathy, that's a good thing right?

he's the one with a screw loose, not us

I agree. He is actually nasty and calculating. I find nothing redeeming in him whatsoever.

A really nasty manchild.

Of course Pitman but that is it, like all good villains they appeal in some way well to me anyway however in the end it is the fact that Bear does show some normal human behaviour that actually makes me truly dislike him IE inability to take it only give it. Now if he had been a true hard as nails villain

proper villains take it even less well, Heavy would have been terminated last night

Well I don't like Heavy much either though he was on top form last night however I think Bear has already plotted out how he'll pay him back Kudos to Heavy though he is seriously without any fear at all and is a God send in a house with someone like Bear.

He's not stupid - he wanted air-time and playing dumb was his way of getting it. How many of the others did Emma speak to directly? In Bear's world, the fact that he got her to speak to him means he's special... and with Bear there is nothing more important than attention.

I agree with you about the school yard bully, but school yard bullies only get away with it if the school is too weak to stand up to them... and that's exactly what is happening in that house.

BB is enabling and condoning his behaviour, and as long as that happens he will just continue to behave as he's done.

I don't think he'll pay him back, though he never ever forgets, he will conveniently forget that one, too painful, too close to the bone

Emma said as much on BOTS. She said she knew that he understood the instructions perfectly but just wanted more airtime which, being live, he got. He is devious and cunning and I struggle to find anything positive to say about him. He seems to have no redeeming features.
