2) I wholeheartedly agree with you.
3) Just reeling off Emma's history you clearly have held a great dislike of her style from your tone; cynicism, sarcasm, and looking down on what she has achieved. And that is ok. We can't all like everybody all of the time. Had she jumped ship the moment she 'made it', I might too look down on her. The fact she's stuck this out when better jobs have come her way, says something about her liking this gig. I didn't watch BBOTS too much in the early days when she presented it. However, I thought we were talking about her interview with Chloe in particular? I know you are using these situations to thread Emma's 'interviewing inadequacies' as proof of her mediocrity as an interviewer. But, it doesn't prove anything to me. Yes, sometimes she's too soft or too hard going in her technique with certain housemates. But, for the most part, most viewers don't have a polarising problem with her. In fact, her style is greatly liked, hence she gets a fair bit of work coming her way. I would imagine not watching the series and then interviewing the housemates, impartiality would be so much easier for anybody? Watching it is more likely for her to have favourites. And she does ok in being fairly neutral, imo. She's only human. But, I think when it comes to interviewing Bear, she's probably going to be not that relaxed, a bit cold, and as practical as she can. People will call her out on that too. A combination of Nelson Mandela and Mother Theresa would lack the patience of dealing with this monumental prick, come interview time.
4) Couldn't tell you about this. I don't watch the civilian BB because of the whoring and argumentative antics of limelight huggers that we now have being paraded on our screen in the current CBB.
We'll just have to agree to disagree. And Chloe did raise her voice. Yes, she was all about defending herself from such an 'onslaught'. But, by god, she'd sit there on her arse and watch Bear be mean to people in the house and laugh about it with him later. Awful girl. And she's deluded if she thinks they are going to be a couple later. I wouldn't be surprised if Bear makes waves between him and Lewis next and makes moves on Marnie, seeing as they and Chloe all hammered their nails to the mast of immorality. The only consistent thing about that man he brings out the worst in everybody around him because he can't do anything else. He even manages it with his screen over and mates. I didn't mind Chloe in the beginning - But, by god, her colours were revealed. Lacks smarts, awareness, and any sense of who she is supposed to be. Very lost, if I were to give any sympathy, and very likely to be chewed up and spat out by men like bear.”
Another great post, especially BIB.
