The way it's going I don't think that would be a bad thing. Unless someone takes it back to the good old days.

Considering the piss pour quality of the show now. Probably someone like Vicky Pattison or any of the other riff-raff from Geordie Shore/TOWIE. Anybody who loves to get their boobs/penis out, drink, scream and shout and do anything for air time would be a perfect host.

I think when CBB (can't comment on BB as I won't watch it) is going really well, Emma is right for it. But, now it's really low-grade, rough-trade entertainment, she's not right for it. I don't know who could head it. Perhaps just stick Rylan in the role? That way, it's all still keeping in with the culture of the show.

If CBB doesn't pick up in the next season, perhaps it's best to either ditch it entirely or just turn it into a very late night reality tv contestants show. I mean, they do have an audience, don't they? But, big name celebs won't be drawn to it and so it will lose a lot of it's viewing appeal.

I understand what you're saying but I think we need a contrast to that. Someone who is extremely cynical and outspoken. Just to cut through this utter bile.

Isn't it just As much as I want it to change back to something more 'pure' (for want of a better word), it's not going to happen. It seems this is exactly what the producers want. As I stated above, I think an outspoken and utterly cynical interview style would probably be the best option, to have no allegiance to anyone on the show and just give all the wannabes a hard time. Harsh, I know.

Also, I think it would be a good idea to have zero BB or CBB shows for a good year to 18 months why they sort out a new format, then launch it with full fanfare. As long as it's not the same old, same old as before.

Vanessa Feltz please. It wouldn't ever happen, but I've always thought she'd be great.

That's a good choice! I do like her and she's brilliantly articulate. I'd just worry she'd tow the line. I want someone who doesn't give a toss about anything. I guess that will never happen, seeing as everything is scripted and people are scared of losing their job. Maybe an alternative solution is a separate programme, an independent one. Would that be possible? Would anyone have the guts?

I don't doubt it. We are allowed, I take it, to make threads about a hypothetical scenario? It won't damage her ego to write fairytales on here will it? Please do tell Emma that everyone loves her and still thinks she's a princess, regardless, won't you? Thanks

Jeremy Paxman. Imagine him interviewing Lewis:

JP: Are you or are you not a snivelling little shit with zero talent?
Lewis: Nah, fing is, Jeremy....
JP: Are you or are you not a snivelling little shit with zero talent?
Lewis: ...wot happened was, Jeremy....
JP: Are you or are you not a snivelling little shit with zero talent?

etc ect until Lewis starts crying and Jeremy shakes his head, rolls his eyes and walks off in disgust.
