Anyone but Rylan. I can't stand the way he simpers and strokes the evictees' egos. I'd want someone who is cut throat enough to tell them exactly why they've been evicted. Vanessa is probably the best suggestion.
Congratulations! Took 29 posts before anyone mentioned the R word and it's not even a positive mention. That's very telling about the love and esteem, we have for Old Toothy.

Bring back Brian Dowling!! ...wasn't a fan especially, but hated the fact he learned about being fired by reading it in the paper. So bring him back... Then fire him properly.

If you've gone off Big Brother – and would prefer a rerun of the days when the highlight of a series was Jackie Stallone going "Yeah, it's Jacky" – then stop watching it and stop posting about it

As for Emma ... You'd have to have Rylan take over – at least for a while ... But they'd be hard pressed to find another like Emma, and I think the show would have problems

Thaila Zucchi – if it came down to it

It's not Emma who needs replacing (although I think she will quit soon enough) - it's clueless Katy Manley and the rest of her geeky work experience crew, who are doing a flawless job of destroying the show.

Rylan would have to get the hammer and nails ready if he replaced Emma, the show wouldn't last five minutes.

I stopped watching that year when Jackie entered.
Can't speak for everyone but I'm sure some who aren't enamoured with the current series would rather not see the scripted reality types in there. Stop putting them in and the show could probably get better. Make it about as many HMs as possible and not just the few loudest ones and include tasks that they can sink their teeth into and not just stuff set up to cause manufactured petty arguments

I don't know why anybody would want to do it. You all shouted for emma long before she got the show and now you just can't wait to criticise her. Emma is brilliant it's bb who has let her down badly giving her a lot of riff raff to interview. You can see she is visibly upset at the way the show has gone this year because she was a huge fan of this show. I watched her in quizzes about it and she new everything showing unlike a lot of the panels on the show that don't even seem to watch it. Bb come on do better next time no more reality brainless wonders please. Give Emma and the fans our original big brother back again

When you say "you all" who exactly are you talking about?

Most of the forum members just as they are doing now naming others for the job. They wanted rid of davina and we're hoping emma would get it.

This thread is only asking who forum members would like IF Emma stepped down. It's a hypothetical question, not exactly clamouring for an Emma exit.

Who are you to tell people to stop watching and stop posting? And what does that have to do with who people would like to see presenting the show IF Emma were to step down? Completely irrelevant to this thread.

And as for Thaila Zucchi...Yes she has the presenting credentials for BB doesn't she? Or not.

Vanessa Feltz would be a good choice but she's got a daily radio show which she's not giving up. I expect if Emma left they would get someone like Helen Wood in, and I'm not joking either AND
Yes, if we have to have a new presenter then I agree that Vanessa would be a great choice. She is intelligent, perceptive, unpredictable and not afraid to air her views...which is probably why we will never see her presenting this current style of BB.

Emma will walk before she gets replaced. Simon Cowell advised her to stop doing BOTS so hopefully he'll do the same again.
I love Emma but the way the show is going, she does not need to be associated with this drivel of its former self.

As for who they should get to be new host once she walks......... George Lamb
The utter contempt and lack of interest he showed when he took over BBLB would be ideal.

Some people are moaning about Emma's interview with Chloe last night but if you're gonna put people like that in the house then it's going to make the job of interviewing them difficult.

As Emma said, if she wanted to watch Sex on the beach, TOWNIE or Jodie Moore she would but it's not what a true fan [which she is] of BB tunes in for
I too think she'll walk - and sooner rather than later if she has any sense and the show continues in the same vein. She has already started to go 'against the grain' (with her 'rant') which may indicate that she is on some level already starting to moving on.

The show has become superficial, simple and base and she is none of those things. As a presenter she is so much more than that and I think her talents are now wasted on this drivel.
If you can't change it then it's time to disassociate from it and move on. I would like to see her stay but believe it's in her best interests to now move on.

At the moment I see her as the only public BB face that is representative of the long standing viewers that prefer the old format. Without her it could signal that things are about to get much worse depending on who they choose as her replacement.
If they are going to continue in the scripted reality direction then we would probably get a scripted reality sourced presenter. That will be the beginning of the end for me I suspect.

Laura Whitmore, she already does some work for Viacom with MTV, so they know her, and she has shown with IAC that she is a good host.

Emma has done her tour of duty and is likely being offered more work at better rates.
so if she left i would not find it unexpected news.

i dont think Rylan can carry any show let alone the main show.

i dont really care... as long as it isnt a clown prince of prance or an ape like bear.

I think Emma is too good for this trash and would like her to move on now.

Rylan would do the job perfectly imho.
