Give her a break

There's no rule that says a host should remain impartial

She's allowed to like and dislike whoever she wants and if a certain housemate needs pulling up about there behaviour then so be it

She did the same with Ryan in BB17 before you start saying it's only the women”

The host of any show should remain impartial . Same goes for Rylan .

Emma works for BB . BB chooses all the people to appear in their show . If she's going to take sides like that, is she also going to criticize her bosses, for choosing those she doesn't approve of . I bet not .

You say she pulled her up for supporting Bear . So is she saying she doesn't like Bear and is going to give him the same grilling when he comes out . I bet not . Also Bear must be popular with a majority of the voters as he comes out near the top every week .

It was appalling.

One of her token 'tough' interviews on 'easy targets' and/or people she doesn't like/her job prospects won't be hurt by upsetting. Along with the usual finger wagging 'this is how you should behave' and putting a question to a HM then interrupting the answer to tell them what it should be, she also didn't allow Chloe her round of applause.

The worst of Willis.

Emma is very inconsistent with her level of 'grilling' from interview to interview, and lets her personal views on that person determine the harshness of her approach, which is unprofessional. I get more satisfaction when housemates stand up to Emma, for example Hazel BB14

I don't particularly like Chloe, but Rene behaved despicably towards her, and Bear is his own person. If these points were recognised by Emma without trying to shame Chloe (and the 'dressing down' about the glass of water that was never thrown was unnecessary), it may have been a slightly more balanced interview.”

Agreed !!!!!!!!!!

I didn't know people were trash-talking Emma yet AGAIN because I couldn't watch the interview. The constant sound of excessive spit (and lack of intelligible words) in Chloe's mouth was too much to be suffered.

I am afraid Rylan and Emma will never be impartial they don't know the meaning of the word. I agree with your point on her interview with Bear she will tell him he is the greatest thing since sliced Bread as I have said before.

Thought it was the other way around myself.

Well OK, talk to her about those things, but you don't need to look down your nose at her like you've just trodden in the worst dog poo ever, do you?

But Emma didn't look down her nose at her, not at all! Plus you are forgetting that the producers would have told Emma questions on what they wanted her to ask her too!

I think that Emma did a great interview, probably one of her best ever! People like Chloe need to be called out for their disgusting behaviour, like Emma said on BOTS, she doesn't want to watch GS or ex on The Beach, she wants to watch Big brother. Good for Emma, great job!

Well stop inviting those people to come on the show then!

Emma doesn't choose or select these people, the producers do! Do you really think Emma makes that choice?

No, but you'd think she'd either be supporting what the show has become, or leave. She's basically criticizing the decisions of the people in charge of the show she's presenting, on TV. Is that really professional?

Just maybe Emma wants changes and go back to the channel 4'Days just as we all do!

I think that Emma is very professional personally and maybe she will get sick of the fakeness and leave, who knows!

Let's hope that Emma and the producers read these posts and do something about the idiotic Bear and throw him out for his disgusting behaviour!

Thirded.

If she hates these types of contestants so much, she should really do another show. Isn't she essentially sticking two fingers up to her bosses? But then again, maybe they wanted Emma to give her a good grilling. HMs are just pawns for producers to do with as they please.

I miss the old Big Brother so much, but we have to realize times have changed and we need to move on. Seems like Emma needs to as well.

I completely agree with you!

When you're interviewing someone with no substance, nothing between their ears, no regret for any of her behaviour (in fact believing she's done no wrong), it's everyone else to blame, makes it very difficult to engage with an eejit!

I personally don't think Emma was in the least harsh with Chloe, she was far more restrained than I would have been!

Remind me again what she did that was really wrong? Is it just sl*t shaming or judging because she associated with someone that was anti-social? If it's the latter, then I can't wait to see how harsh Emma is on Lewis.

I thought she was hard on Chloe but not undeservedly so, I just hope she does the same to Bear.

I read this thread before I watched the interview, tbh, I was slightly disappointed with the interview, I was hoping that Emma was going to be a lot harder on Chloe than she was.

I still don't understand what she did that was so wrong, for her to deserve the same grilling as Bear?!
