Just bought the album/dvd version today. cant wait to play it at the gym later. I already love " Nothing else Matters" this will be huge as a single . From what I have heard from the album I will love this album even more then " Get Weird".

Does anyone know when ADIDAS isn't on the dvd concert?
The dvd concert doesn't actually include the full concert. It's been edited. Five songs from the concert were edited out for some reason. And ADIDAS was one of them. No idea why

I actually looked up which songs were cut, and tbh the ones that were cut were a good choice. If they were going to remove any they picked the right ones.

And which ones are they? No one seems to know why they have been cut

That DVD pretty much follows the version they toured abroad with, and no one knows why songs were cut (expenses?) I'm bummed because ADIDAS much to my surprise is my favorite album track and I like I Won't too.

Someone also posted that they compressed that HQ version posted on their YT channel down on top of that for the tour songs. Grrr.

The songs removed are ADIDAS, I Won't, Change Your Life, The End and a random medley of older classics.

Neil Claxton ‏@MintRoyale
Big old number 1 album for Little Mix next week. Selling 25% more than Metallica and faster than Olly Murs did last week.

@MintRoyale Thanks so much this is amazing news! Has it sold over 25k?

Neil Claxton ‏@MintRoyale
Yep

@MintRoyale What about Bruno, will they beat him?

Neil Claxton ‏@MintRoyale
He's miles behind.

This is a sales only flash, no streaming. Olly sold 58k last week. Who is more frontloaded, LM or Metallica? Also I read that Metallica put their entire album up on YouTube as a visual album.

Bruno seems to be underwhelming this time around after those huge periods he had before.

I've been listening to both GD and Hardwired, GD is more of an advance for LM than Hardwired is for Metallica. LM can do better in the future and Metallica have done better in the past. I think LM deserve a no 1 album this time.

Charlie Puth did a French interview and confirmed his collaboration with LM (Oops) is a "single coming out soon".

UK music forums hate it, but its the most cherry picked track in the US currently.

Of course you can flip that around.

Metallica have obviously done better in the past when they pioneered an entire genre in their 20s. However, the fact they are still producing sensational metal albums when they're approaching retirement age is really quite something. I don't think Little Mix will still be going in thirty years time, nevermind pushing for No. 1 albums and playing to stadiums.

It's true that girl groups generally don't have as great longevity as rock bands. There are reasons for that.

Metallica's 'Black' album was probably their last great one in 1991 (maybe 'Load', 1996).
But you are right 'Hardwired' is a good album for a band of their years. I don't listen to many other metal bands these days. The exceptions being Slipknot and Anvil. Since I watched 'The Story of Anvil' and feel that Anvil have not received the credit for pioneering 'Thrash Metal'.

I notice that Jesy is always wearing a Slayer t-shirt.

Their fourth studio record is on course for the top spot after shifting an incredible 43,000 copies in a single day.

The mammoth sales are even more impressive considering Olly Murs sold 58,000 in seven days to land his fourth No.1 on Friday and Robbie Williams sold 67,000 the week before.

If Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock carry on selling at this rate they could easily be certified Gold on Friday by moving over 100,000 copies.

US heavy metal gods Metallica are about 10,000 copies behind them at No.2.

That was the Friday sales flash. Buzzjack says Glory Days sold another 13-14k on Saturday and extended the lead over Metallica. Wow.

Anyone else find it odd that the album is called Glory Days and Britney's album was called Glory. And they have a song on it called Private Show and Britney had a song on her album called Private Show ????
Much as I like Little Mix but not Britney, I noticed that LM have album track Oops, which is the 1st word of a Britney hit Oops I Did It Again.

Radio 2 just B listed the song, so I think that's all the majors just like Black Magic?

LM also confirmed an XF Australia performance, probably the next weekend because the DJ Smallzy said they would be over within 2 weeks. They usually do album promo over there.

Its slightly awkward because Iggy Azalea is on that panel and famously went on her Twitter to dismiss LM's writing credit on Pretty Girls.
Little Mix were even on Radio 2 yesterday, as guests on the Graham Norton show! They played album tracks Oops & No More Sad Songs. The latter already sounded like a classic song after just 1 listen! The subject of Jade's Boxing Day birthday came up. I am almost looking forward to Boxing Day more than Christmas Day!

Having just read this entire thread, I recall someone apparently knowing which their next single would be, and another post (possibly the same poster) speculating on the 3rd or 4th single. Can you therefore name the next single please?

The next single is Touch

Looking forward to the other songs, have you considered a second single?
We haven't announced what it's going to be yet, but we just shot the video for that and it'll be out very soon. We're very excited about that.

I have to say, "Touch" is such a standout...
Ohh! Interesting choice! [Laughs]

Is it, now? Well, I really love it. It's very trendy, very sexy, has so much potential around the world. Could tell us a little more about that song?
We absolutely love it because we feel it's quite different than what we've done before so it's a lot more bass-vibe, that's really cool. "Touch" was one of those songs we heard and we just fell in love with it straightaway. We're just happy everyone's loving it since it went out as an instant-grat track and it went down really, really well. I really love "Touch."

I was reading about this song when it came out and Ariana Grande's name kept popping up as some mysterious collaborator. You'll be going on tour together soon, is something in the works here?
No, unfortunately, there isn't a collaboration. I mean, we would absolutely love to because we love Ariana. Other than the touring with her next year, there isn't a collaboration or song. Unfortunately. That would be wonderful, though!

Check out the rest of the interview, its very good.

The 3rd single is Oops

I heard the album in its entirety on a US radio station yesterday, and to be honest, I'm not sure Touch is The One to break them in the US. It didnt distinguish itself for me. I'm sure the UK will love it.

I got the new album and had it on for the past few days trying to work out my favourites.

No More Sad Songs stands out as the standout track for me, for some reason I really love the song. Hoping that gets a future release as I can see it going down really well.

Metallica are one of the biggest heavy metal bands of all time so it's no surprise their album is doing so incredibly well. Especially when it's been 8 years since the last album, the sheer volume of anticipation from their fans must be huge.

Whereas even if Metallica had outsold Little Mix this week in the UK, I suspect Glory Days would be the bigger selling album overall. Very few acts seem capable of selling albums over a sustained period of time but Little Mix are capable which is extraordinary in the current era of the album charts.

In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Bruno Mars' album goes on to outsell Metellica's album by the end of the year.

I see unsubstantiated Twitter fan blah blah but until I see an industry citation I'm not buying anything.

Does anyone know, I bought my physical from LM's store in the UK to ship to the US. Which country does it chart in? Because now I wonder if their UK numbers arent inflated by the US fans having to purchase from the store because I havent found a retailer carrying the Deluxe physical in the US so we're forced to import. By that token that also means their US numbers would be artificially lowered.
